Hi everyone! according to our lawyer she already sent our affidavit of support and DS-230 along with all our documents to NVC almost a month ago but I've been calling NVC every other day since last 2 weeks to know the current status of our case but different operators kept telling me the same thing that they haven't accepted yet our AOS and DS-230 etc, which was submitted already by our lawyer (THAT IS ACCORDING TO OUR LAWYER) We do not know if it's true or we are just waiting for nothing...sad. guys pls help..what should I do? thanks in advance!

For us, I'm going for CR-1 for my Wife & CR-2 for our son. For this I had to submit one complete I-864 Packet for each of them. I received her documents only 1 day before I received his.

I have just Sent both of the completed packets Next Day in the same envelope. Each packet is paperclipped with the Barcoded Coversheet on the top.

Call the NVC, the operators are very friendly and don't mind answering stupid questions

Hi and tnx for the reply! so you mean my husband(our petitioner) need to fill up and submit 3 complete I-864 packet with the barcoded coversheet on top of each of each I-864 and for that we also need 3 barcoded coversheet? but as I said NVC sent me only one Barcoded sheet which is only for my case. how is that? does my case and my 2 kids cases are different thing?

Hi everyone! a while ago I received an email containing INSTRUCTION PACKET from NVC. we're on F2A category( me and my 2 kids) and I am the principal applicant(mother) but the bar coded instruction packet containing ONLY my MNL case number. my question is..can we send all our documents (including my 2 kids birth certs, biographic pages of thier passport, etc.. in one envelope putting only my barcoded sheet on top of all our documents or we should still have to wait for another barcoded instruction packet containing my kids MNL case number ? pls help Im confused because there is an instruction wriiten there TO AVOID PROCESSING DELAYS WHEN RETURNING DOCUMENTS TO THE NVC DO NOT ATTACH DOCUMENTS FOR OTHER CASES TO THIS PAGE AND DO NOT INCLUDE INFORMATIONS FOR OTHER CASES IN THE SAME ENVELOPE WITHOUT ATTACHING NVC's LETTERS TO THE FRONT OF EACH CASES's DOCUMENTS. thank you and hoping for your replies..god bless

that what we're thinking of that he didn't sent the money to pay the bills but when my husband went to our lawyer to ask he kept on telling my husband that it will take 6-8 weeks and is that normal?.

I just want to ask how to remove a lawyer as our agent? last month I(beneficiary) received an email from NVC containing AOS and IV fee bill for me and 2 my 2 kids so my husband(petitioner) went to our lawyer(agent) and he gave to her the money for payment for the 2 bills (41,270) that was june 6, all we know that that ###### lawyer sent already the money to NVC to pay the 2 bills. after 2 weeks my husband went back to our lawyer only to find out that our lawyer haven't send yet the money to NVC..we dont why. and now me and my husband are thinking of removing that ###### lawyer as our agent and instead appointing my husband as our new agent. now I just to ask if we can still remove that lawyer as our agent and how? thank you and god bless!

Hi to everyone!, on may 20 I received an email from NVC containg our combined AOS and IV fee bill ( for me and for my 2 kids) eventhough me and my 2 kids have different cases numbers, on that email we have only one Invoice ID number and MNL case number for the three of us (which is needed for paying the AOS and IV fee) . On june 6 our lawyer sent the money via MAIL to pay the two bills (AOS/ IV fee) total of $1,270 and now I'm little bit worried because yesterday I contacted the NVC and talk to one of their operator but according to her they are still waiting for the payment in order to proceed for the next step of processing. it's been almost 2 weeks now since our lawyer sent the money to them. And one thing more just today I received again an email from NVC containg AOS and IV fee for my youngest daugther with different Invoice ID number to the first email which I have recieved on may 20. WHY IS THAT, IS IT NORMAL?

I'm from philippines my husband filed I-130 petition for me and for our 2 kids and was given a priority date of JANUARY 04, 2005 under F2A category. we got approved last Oct 01, 2008. 2 weeks ago I emailed the NVC to inquire about the current status of our case, yesterday the NVC responded to my inquiry, to be specific here's what they told...YOUR INQUIRY HAS BEEC RECEIVED AT THE NATIONAL VISA CENTER. IF YOU WISH TO CONTINUE UTILIZING THE ATTORNEY OF RECORD PLEASE NOTIFY THE NATIONAL VISA CENTER FOR HIS OR HER CURRENT MAILING ADDRESS AND EMAIL ADDRESS ( if applicable). what does it mean.. are they asking me to email to them my choice of agent form (DS-3032)..please need your opinion..thank you and god bless.

My LPR husband filed a petition for me and to our 2 kids DEC 2004 and was given a PD JANUARY 04, 2005. we got approved last OCT 2008 and my husband in US received one letter from NVC stating that we still have to wait for our PD to becomes current. as of JUNE visa bulletin they're processing DECEMBER 15, 2004 so 2 weeks behind our PD and until we haven't receive or heard anything from NVC again. as I read in some of the discussion here in VJ, approximately around 9 months before PD becomes current NVC starts sending paper or forms to fill up (choice of agent form, DS-230, IV fee, etc) to beneficiary as well as to petitioner. I just want to know when can I expect receiving papers or forms from NVC? thank you and god bless!

hi everyone! just want to ask about our case. My husband filed a I-130 petiton for me and to our 2 kids Dec 2004 (F2A) and given a priority date of JANUARY 04, 2005, we got approved last october 1, 2008. NVC sent us a letter stating that we still have to wait for our priority date becomes current. currently the priority date being process under our category (F2A) is October 08, 2004 so 3 months behind our priority date, but as i read in some of the discussion here in VJ forums NVC starts sending papers to fill up/ letter of instruction to beneficiary as well as to petitioner atleast 9 months before the priority date becomes current (DS 230, Choice of agent letter IV fee bill, etc) and in our case aside from one letter which was received by my husband( petitoner) last Nov 2008 we haven't heard or received anything from NVC again. is this normal? or dapat ngayon may natanggap na kame na letter of instructions, choice of agent letter, DS-230? anybody here in VJ forum have the same or almost similar sa case namin pls let me know and share your timeline. worried na kasi ako gusto ko na talaga na makaalis na kami ng 2 anak ko sobrang miss ko na ang husband ko at miss na rin 2 anak ko ang father nila. thank you and hoping for replies.

yes my petitioned was approved last October 16, 2008, but then last november 2008 NVC, send us a letter that i have to wait, because there is no available visa for me.

Hi aaron! ask ko lang kung aside dun sa letter n pinadala sayo ng NVC last november stating that you still have to wait because there is no visa yet available for you eh may na receive ka na ulet na letter from NVC? almost close kasi yung PD nten eh mine is JAN 4, 2005 and we both in F2A category. Until now I havent receive any letter or forms fo fill in from NVC. for what I have read in some of the discussions here NVC starts sending forms (DS230, etc) approximately 6-9 moths before PD becomes current.
