thank you so much...............my husband is gonna have his interview in abu dhabi and i was just wondering what he needs to take to the interview with him...............i know he has to take marriage certficates.........birth certificates..........passport copies...........tax return stuff........

i just wanted to know what else he needs to take so he has everything they ask for..............ANY help will be appreiciated............thank you so much.........

What happens usually after the case gets compelete from NVC???

How long does it take for the embassy to get the forms???

Does my spouse have to fill more paperwork after the cases reaches there?

Basically i want to know what happens once case gets complete and goes to the assigned embassy???? PLEASE HELP!

Once the case is complete from NVC and transfers to the embassy....How long does it usually take for the embassy to recieve the paperwork....???

And is the beneficiary going to get an additional packet to fill out before the interview?? Are there more forms that get sent to benenficiary?? well in short can someone summarize what are the next steps after NVC sends case to embassy............ thanks alot for your help.............

I used James shortcut to create AOS coversheet since I was unable to print one from online, had no problem what so ever! My personal opinion some of the things in James shortcut is outdated, I recommend using LingChe's shortcut for latest NVC process. since I am still a student and currently go to college i havent started working yet.........so I dont have any income or tax returns etc...........So either my dad or my brother will be sponsering my husband...........to my understanding i still have to fill out an I-864 even if my income is zero?!?!?!??! and anyone who is sponsering besides me fills out the I-864A????? Thanks alot for your help!

yes that is correct, but does your brother or dad lives in same houshold if so then yes they will fillout I-864A. If they live in different house then you then they fillout I-864.

Hi All! I am preparing documents for NVC and I came across a problem. The instructions for the I-864a say they need to be notarized (click here). However there is no place to put a notary stamp nor does it say it in the instructions for the form. What should I do?

- About a week (from the service center to NVC)

- a month or less (unless you've gone through administrative processing or got RFE or even made mistakes)

- send the forms as soon as the fees are PAID

- DS-230 should contain Originals or Certified Copies or else you'll get RFE

- one year tax return (Required) or you can also send them the Last three years income tax return if you want too

I just checked only Tuesday and my I-130 was approved!!!! YAY!!! Im trying to get my husband here from UAE.........now that my case is goin to NVC i am a little confused can anyone pls answer some questions i have........pls!

-how long does it take for our case to reach NVC???

-How long is the processing time at NVC??

-If we fill out the forms before our case gets to NVC can we send those forms in?? Cuz i heard from someone that NVC send us the packet and we are suppose to fill those and send them in........

-Are we suppose to send original documents as in original birth certificate, marriage certificate.......etc?

-And last but not the least how many previous tax returns do we need?? 1year?? 2years?? 3years??
