So My mom was a proved for her immigrant visa. Thank you God it was long and stressful but over now.
My main question is what is next? I am about to pay the fee and I was wondering what happens when she gets her at the airport.
Will she have another interview at the POE in the airport or will it be just a case of showing paperwork and fees paid and she will be on her merry way?
The reason I ask is because she isn't fluent in English and I didn't not think she will have another interview so I thought it'd be okay for her to just do the trip alone without me needing to go back home to escort her all the way here.
She has been visiting us in the States almost every year for the past 10 years so she can travel alone.
What do you guys think?

Another way would be to try and get her back in status. I was out of status twice while I was an F-1 status. Just call Uscis hotline, and ask which form you should file. I have a question, how was she issued an I-20 when she went to the embassy? By that I mean which school was she suppose to attend? Depending on your answer, I might be able to help you with advice. But by any means, do not try and shortcut the system man...
