You most likly have allready asked or have been told some about her family. Any relationship with a filipno be it as a good friend or as a journey toward marrage you'll learn that family is very high in there DNA. And this is a good wounderfull thing. So if your moving towards the marrage relationship become imformed about the lives of her family and get to know them as well. Plan on an eventual visit to meet her. Since her work has limited schedual some advance planning is important and this is a deal breaker for a visa. I a total must do in order to apply for a visa. having proof of had met in person withing the last 3 years. So when you do meet take nice pictures of you both as a couple. Good luck on your quest

Once you go to the site you'll need the case number assigned. That is on your letter of receipt from the NOA1 that came in regular snail mail. If you don't allready know touch will just let ya know when someone has looked at the application. Theres usually no reason posted on the why or who of the touch. Good luck on your journey.

Agree Fed-X is the way to go. 4 to 6 day is pretty much the time it has taken for packages I have sent.

We just got the package delivered yesterday from the embasy. he he Alma is pretty excited. of course wants to complete medical and interview all tomarrow and then catch the plane before dinner. lol. Am pretty sure she will have a september interview. perhaps early Oct latest. Time is running smoother now. Good luck to all september interviewers.

Agree with the Fed X. Save your receipt with the tracking number. Is kinda interesting to watch the odd stops the package takes on its way there. All I have sent usually takes 2 to 3 days to be dilivered.

Congtarts Sounds like you had a very nice experiance. All your preperation although not totally needed payed off. For some perhaps questions about ther relationship could arise so that is the need for the added perperation. Your package must of been perpared well and no questions came up. Good Job!

Well question has gotten the correct replys. Suggest to continue writting hand written letters as well al the way up to the interview. Is old school but shows date sent. just additional proof of relationship. With the age of the internet, e-mails, chatt loggs is just an additional layer of proof that your relationship has depth and another layer of proof for the interview. Just my 2 cents.

Any relationship can be and is full of trials. We can all relate to the trial of time and distance. Trust is a biggie for anyone traveling down the long distance relationship road.

Even with the trials of doughts or lack of trust. For me is not a issue of any kind. Have like other posters have been warned to keep a close eye out for scammers am sure coming form a story friends family have heard for past eperiances and storys heard from whatever sorce.

As for what I am attracted to or a better way of putting it completely hook on is my ladys kind heart or open friendly personality. Her values are for lack of a better phrase is old school. Not all wraped up in the love things generation. She loves life and family and frineds. She holds that way above a shinny neckless or new car. Am attracted to the dream of real true love. I love the caulture and the people she has invited me into, to be part of. In the world of the have and the have nots, the winners and loser in the financial rate race the keep up with the Jones crowd I am more than happy to be in the happy and in true love crowd. A simple lif with a loving lady is the best dream that could ever come ture for me.

I sent the petition off in the first part of may of with an incorrect mailing address also. I had the exact same posting of ""DOCUMENT OTHER THAN CARD OR TRAVEL DOCUMENT BEING HELD FOR 180 DAYS SINCE RETURNED AS UNDELIVERABLE " On my logg in all the way up to it changing when we were approved. the only thing that changed was touched dates. Did you get a letter that said your address was updated. should of gotten a copy of the NOA1 at the corrected address as well by snail mail. All the notifications I received were in regular document sized envelopes which should easly fit into even a small postal or po type slot.

All the above The important thing is proof that you have met withing the 2 year requirement as of the date you file. As far as the pictures goes is good dadded proof but the copy of your passport page that shows the stamp of your entry on your visit is the best proof. make a nice clear coupy of that. As well as airline ticket stubs or copy of an e-ticket. Hotel receipts and so on. Additionally for the pictures best are couple pictures of you and your lady. not ones from a hotel room as a suggestion. And Good luck joining the journey! Will be a bit of a long road but one well worth the wait.

From what I have read all the way through this visa journey and seem to be the best way is to always tell the truth. In this case they are concerned with your employment and not his because you will be the one having to show the ability to suport him. If the question about his employment comes up then just tell the truth! I don't beleive that a tax question will even be brought up about his country and what he has paid in the past. Uncle Sam is concerned about your earnings.

I just got an e-mail from CRIS Stating current status approval notice sent. I was floored. didn't expect till another week or more. Sent in May 5th. Really exciting. I hope all May fliers have fast approval too. Yucks. Better get started on the next part. he he

Like you have herd allready now is the waiting game part. 3 months is the average or there abouts. Never hurts to add up more proof of your relationship as you wait as well. With the new age of computers alot of people don't send actual letters but you should do just that. Maybe 2 or 3 a week till it is time for your lady to be interviewed. This does 2 things, one she will have dated mail from you to show during her interview and it will give you something to do as well to keep your mind occupied. Toss in a picture

here and there. I also enjoy sending some cute cards. She'll enjoy getting them and like I said just adds additional proof of an on going relationship. Never herts to gather any documents she may need for her interview as well. the earlier the better. Your relationship has lasted the test of time allready. Is sad that this last attempt to be together apears to have failed because of a requirement put in place to protect the petitioner. Employing a lawyer with an unsure outcome seems to me to be a grasp at a straw that could just end up a waste of funds better use to travel there to marry her. Then apply for the Cr1 or K3 visa as one of the earlier post suggested. Your lady will understand am sure. I know after waiting this long and hen getting excited about the aproval has added to the wish to follow through with more action. But to me it seems your best course of action is to except that this is not a failure but just another test of your strong relationship and start working on your final test.
