Yeah. Maybe I should somehow specify in what department I worked within the school because it would look pretty redundant otherwise.
Add an extra piece of paper to explain what student jobs you held if not enough space. I would rather be redundant than be accused of purposefully hiding any information.

So I called today the 1-800 number.. the agent did not transfer me to an immigration officer and he just took me info and placed a service request for my case. he said if i did not hear from them within 30 days i should call back.
so what do you think guys? do i need to call again and try my luck with another agent? or give 10 more days then try to make an info service appointment with my local USCIS office?

I believe the Memorial Day and Independence Day delayed our processing time, doesn't matter if it get held up at USPS or USCIS. I am expecting our interview will be delay by Labor Day and Oath will be delay to around Thanksgiving holiday.

Last night at 2:32am, I received text msg and e-mail regarding FP notice was mailed out on July 6th. Phew! I feel kind of relieved!

I have a quick question, My status online still says that "Initial review: On June 4, 2010, we received this N400 APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case..... "
it is now more than 30 days and i did not receive my biometric letter.. do you think i should call and inquiry about this or wait more? when they say 30 days does this mean business days or calender days?

I'm having the same situation. My priority date was June 2nd. I called the mis-information line and did a service request last Friday (July 2nd) morning. Afternoon of the same day I received an e-mail saying that my case had been entered into the system which schedules applicants for biometrics at their local ASC and I will receive something within 60 days. I think it's just my local ASC being backlogged. May be your local ASC is dealing with the same. I will post any new development here. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Hi fellow VJers,
I just caught myself made a silly mistake
with my N400 packet. Since the boxes for employment weren't enough, I added an additional sheet. On that page, I typed the start date for one of the jobs as year 2010 but the correct year should be 2009. What should I do to correct the mistake? Should I wait till the interview then inform the IO? Or is there some way to correct that now? Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Thank you for everyone's advice! I'm still waiting for the NOA. Well... waiting for my check to be cashed as well. Looks like USCIS is not facing any bankruptcy crisis because it's not in a hurry to cash my check this time around, unlike last year they cashed my check like there's no tomorrow! LOL...

Hi fellow VJers,
I used USPS Express mail last Saturday (5/29/10) to send my N400 package to the Lewisville TX address, I tripled check the address so I'm sure I wrote it down correctly. USPS tracking status shows the current status as "forwarded" since Tuesday (6/1/10). Has this happen to anyone else? What can I do to make sure the package is being delivered?
