      Apparently my husband is NEVER eligible to come to the US! Why then, did the US Embassy string us along for a year and a half saying at each step we would be eligible for a waiver??? How can such a multitude of mistakes happen out of one embassy??

    VJ family I need clarification on this police certificate thing, do you have to provide an address for them to mail it directly to the embassy/consulars office or do they get same day, have to pick it up What? Lost on the police cetificate. If so what address do you have to send it to. The lady on the phone at the embassy said 30 Monroe rd, but she sounded like she wa just hurrying me off the phone and really didn't understand what I asked her. HELP!

      the Police Station will ask for an address, but they know which one it is if he tells them it is the American Embassy. He will need to go pick up the police certificate regardless, they will not send it to him. Congrats, and good luck on your interview!

    Intent to marry letter???? What address do I put for the USCIS Service center? And for the embassy I put jamaica right?

      unless the K1 process has changed you need one for the petition addressed to USCIS and a next re-affirmation letter for the interview
