  1. Hello Every one

This is Harinder here. My Application (I-130 Brother and sister) is Under Process. Now i am going to Marry with my Girl friend(US Citizen).she is coming to India in few wks. The Question is, after marry my wife will apply K3 visa for me. so i will get some credit of months behalf of my previous Application(I-130)?.because my application is already in the Que. so while applying new Application K3 there will be some deduction in processing time of K3 Application.

    Thanks

    Harinder Pal Singh

  2. thanks dear for your reply..well my brother has applied for me in texas service center. and at texas service center the processing time showing only 5 months.. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do. i am little confuse...and what will be processing time after approval of application..

2nd... my finance is ready to apply K1 visa for me..

3rd.. my parents are PR in USA.

so my Question is...which application process will be fast..if my parents apply I 130 or if my Finance apply K1 visa for me.

    thanks

Are you applying for them or are they applying for you?

You applying for both your sibling and your fiancee won't affect eachother, but you will need to make enough money to support them all financially (125% of the povertyline for however many immigrants and your own household).

If they are applying for you, for the K1 app there may be some stricter questions as to your motivation for the visa app- ie they will want to make sure you truly have a bonafide relationship with your fiancee and are not just applying for the fiancee visa to come to the USA, as you clearly want to immigrate.

In terms of time, the K1 gets processed immediately- usually takes 6-8 months from filing of initial papers to interview. Siblings of US citizens take longer, for India the wait is currently 9 years.

  6. (note: I also posted this in the K1 subforum as I'm couldn't tell which one was more appropriate)

USCIS says NOA2 has been sent - NVC says they haven't received anything

We recieved the NOA2 notice on Dec 19th of 2008. It's now the 19th of January and NVC still has no record.

I've talked to operators at NVC who have checked for my case number (I didn't just rely on the automated voice system) but they say they have nothing from USCIS yet. NVC suggested I call USICS.

I called USCIS and they confirmed the NOA2 and said it has been sent to NVC. The woman at USCIS said it can take 60-90 days to deliver to NVC. I said "60 days!?" and reminded her that we only have 4 month of validity for the NOA2. She put me on hold to check with her supervisor then said not to worry if it takes that long I can get extension, but that it is very unusual for that to happen. She was polite and friendly but her actual answers were not reassuring.

I searched this site looking for similar cases but have read conflicting reports and am worried but trying not to panic. I am worried it is lost somehow either in an "inbox" at NVC or an "outbox" at USCIS.

    Advice please

    OMG its take that long........

i got my approval last wk and after file goes to NVC

if NVC take that long its mean i have to for long

    ___________

    filed 129F > 7/31/08

    received NOA1 > 8/4/08

    recieved NOA2 > 12/19/08

    ....waiting

Your I-129F application has been approval and its sent to NVC.

So have any one Experience..like How long time will take NVC to send Document to Abroad Consulate/Embassy, where my finance will apply K1 visa.
