  1. I just realized that my GC and driver license are going to expire 6/7/12 and still have not gotten any notice from the USCIS even though we submitted our application perfectly on time.

Good thing is that I had my biometrics done. and I wondering if I still need be interviewed?.

Is someone else in the same situation?. My paperwork was sent 3/9/12 and received 3/12/12.

Thank you and best of luck for all!

  2. On Monday April 2nd 2012 I had my biometrics done.

Just for the record, the Office located in Phoenix AZ (around 16th St). Walk in is not allowed. But you can arrive as your early convenience as long as your appointment letter has been scheduled for that specific date.

For instance, my appointment has @ 10am; arrived @ 8:15 and by 9:00 I was done!

Hope this reference could be helpful for VJ.

  3. Hello everyone, I have my EAD since last week. I have been job hunting since then, and I have posted tons of resumes in each job site I found (monster, hotjobs, careerbuilder, indeed, jobing, snagajobs, craigslist, etc..)

I am wondering if there is another way to do it.

    Any job agency?....

    Any company in particular?

    I will appreciate any advise

    Thanks

  4. Hi,

I got my card 14 days after my second notification. Actually after 12 days I got a third notification about they sending the card, and 2 days later got it in mail.

So I think yours is going to arrive very soon. If your employer don't mind to hire you considering this short time. Then go ahead and take the job.

Specially because these days is very difficult to find a job and you just got it !!

    good luck

  5. This was my situation

    05/05/2020 first ...card approved

    05/12/2010 second ....card order produced

    05/24/2010 third ... card mailed

05/26/2010 finally card received (phoenix area)

    1. all the notification were by email and the first and second messages were exactly the same.

    2. The card came from MO

Hope this could give you guys an idea about the times, and even though you could receive 2 notifications before, is not until the third one when this is going to be send

    Good luck

  6. My situation is a little similar, but the mistake was that they did not schedule mine and daughter's appointment at the same time.

They first scheduled my daughter's (May 10th) and the month after mine (June 7th). Luckily for me,when we went last month they let us take the interview together, but they did not approved us, because they didn't have my file.

After asking and reviewing it, they will make the final decision.

Seems that even though they are so organized with this paperwork, still some mistakes can appear. The problem is, that there is no way for us to know until you are face to face with them.

Good luck for you and hope you wont need to wait long time before your file could arrive. But I am sure I wont be in few days. I am waiting almost one month...

  7. You may say is not my business, but in my opinion she will need time and effort to adapt herself in to her new life. Seem to be simple, but considering she is leaving behind "all" her life (family, friends, jobs, language, culture), I think that is normal that tears could appear for several months. This happened to me, and after a year, I still can feel depress sometimes.

You two guys need to take a big breath and reconsider your situation. "don't do nothing that you might regret later"

    Good luck and Best wishes

  8. My daughter and I applied for our AOS together, and last March 25th we "both" got our biometrics appointment letters (2 letters, same day but different time).

On April 5th we received another notification, but this time it was the interview appointment letter only for my daughter (k2 visa holder). We waited couple of days hoping to receive my notification also, but nothing. So I called and asked to send me the letter back (in case it could be missing). But still nothing.

The interview is going to be next May 10th and I will be ready, with all the paperwork, pictures and proves for my daughter and for me also.

I still think that is very strange that She got the appointment letter and I did not. So I am wondering if this is common or if I have to worry about.

    Thanks in advance

  9. We sent our AOS last February 22th via Fedex. It arrived on March 1st (according to the Fedex tracking system). And after 22 days we have not received any notification from the gov.

Many people have received an email after a week, or maybe two, informing them that their cases had been received.

By this time we are very concerned because we don't know if they are doing something with our case, or at least, I'd like to know if they just received the package complete.

I am wondering if any of this circumstances could make our case different (and that is why it is taking more time):

    a) The AOS was sent after 1 year I arrived to US

    b) The fee was made with a cashier check (not money order as many people use to do)

I called the USCIS costumer service and they told me I have to wait 30 to call again and report the problem......UNBELIEVABLE !!!

I am very worry, specially for the money....!

So here I am asking for help

**** Do anybody have lived something similar?

**** Is there any way for me to make sure the package is still safe?

    Thanks in advance

  10. Our package arrived on March 1st (according to Fedex tracking), and still we had no received any notification (mail or email). I am very worry also because everybody is getting their NOA very soon.

I called yesterday and they told me that I have to wait 30 days before calling again. It is very frustrating !!

Could you let me know if you get or know something?....

    Thanks !

  11. Hello..

My name is Osiris. I arrived to the US last February with a K1 visa. and I got marry during the 90 days..

But unfortunately we haven't have the chance to prepare the AOS, because some economical situations, forced us to wait.

    My question here is..

What could happened to me now?..I understand that I am not "legal" now. But I am wondering if my AOS would have any problem because I didn't respect the 90 days???....Could they deport me?....Could they deny me the AOS??...

So I will appreciate if someone could share a similar experience

    Thanks in advance

  12. Hi VJ..

  13. Hello, my name is Osiris

Could you pls share with me the consulate's website with the requirements that r included in your package.????

    Thnks

Just wondering if anyone has received their Packet 3 from the Juarez Consulate yet. They received our petition from NVC on December 24th, but we haven't heard anything since. So, if anyone has received packet 3 recently, please please let me know when they received your petition and when they sent the packet (or when you received it). Thanks!

The consulate in Ciudad Juarez received our petition from the NVC on Jan 1 and on Jan 31 our lawyer received the letter inviting us to being consular processing. Everything that's in the packet is also on the consulate's website. I hate that you're waiting!
