...ing tired of immigration now (pardon my french). Have the green card with my wife's married name. We go to social security to get it updated and remove conditions but the immigration system is not verifying the name. So social security office say it will take up to 30 days to process it. She cant get a license without her name update in SS. All we can do is wait and hope that they can get things right in their respective systems.

Received text notification today - "June 11 we sent approval notice"

We have already received the welcome letter, so hopefully this is the green card. Interview was May 20.

Hello All,

We had our AOS interview yesterday-- APPROVED,,, we reached the place around 10 am for a 10.35 am interview. We were not called in till about 11.

Interview was not bad, surprisingly had more questions than expected but nothing out of the box. First few minutes were just questions for my wife, her name, DOB and all that, basically comparing the answers on the AOS forms and hers...

Later on we had few questions about our relationship,, and then we chatted about NAPA for few mins... and then handed out our letter saying AOS is approved and we should receive it in 2 to 3 weeks.

Received EAD today 05/03

WooHoo!!! My AOS interview has been approved. I will tell details later.

Sorry guys/gals....I have to say this....

Please think before you tell those of us that are still waiting to have patience....my patience level is stretched very thin at the moment and having someone say that to me doesn't always sit well.

I'm not trying to be mean .... you ALL know I'm VERY happy for those who've been approved, but I do ask that you be sensitive to those that are still waiting.

I am totally confused and is not a matter of patience any more.. I read and read and see people time lines for AP/EAD getting approved, etc, etc.. Makes me wonder if in reality something is wrong with my wife's submission. I am pretty confident no RFEs as I was meticulous enough with the submission [i am not saying I don’t make mistakes] but I am very sure nothing is missing..

dont worry you will be fine. Patience is the name of the game.. it is very hard to predict USCIS, when i got my citizenship it took them 2 years,, whereas people around me were getting approved in couple of months...

Received interview letter today..... interview on 05/20..

no updates on email or text,,,

now back to work to assemble all the required docs for the interview.

No word on AP or EAD yet

Hopefully we will get interview letter or something soon. Getting close to the 2 month mark. no updates on AP, EAD or GC.

No EAD- need this the most right now, for my wife to start working and get a driving license here in CA.

i am sailing in the same boat. waiting game is killing.

Last update was response to RFE received on Mar 24. No update since, hoping to hear something soon, at least the EAD

RFE received - 11th March for entire medical even though submitted at POE

- completed medical exam again at $145- we decided on this to avoid any hassles.

RFE response sent MAR 23

Completed walk in bio today, no issues at all the place was empty walked in at around 12.30 noon and we were out within 15 minutes. original appt date was 03/23

Also, i am confused that i received a msg yesterday for case update, and when i checked online it showed an RFE for my I485, for last 2 days i have been waiting to get the RFE letter, but yesterday received BIO letter so finished walk in today.

will wait for couple of days to check if RFE letter shows up

Had received RFE on 03/11, it was for a complete medical. We just decided to do a new medical for $145 in SAN JOSE, CA. we want to just get it over with.

Unfortunately i could not be there with my wife to finish all this formalities. I had to rush to india urgently, my father passed away on the 11th.

Life is never fair but we have to learn to live with it..

well i was waiting for an RFE letter today, but the mail had a bio appt letter (3/23)

i think RFE letter will come soon.

i received email and text this morning, RFE was mailed on Mar 5. Arrggh, i am thinking it is for I693, well we will know once it comes in the mail

Received all 3 NOA1's today in the mail ( AOS, EAD, AP) with received date Feb 18 and Notice date Feb 24

Received email confirmation today with MSC #

now wait for NOA1
