  1. Im having my interview tomorrow February 11, 2009. I just have a few questions regarding my fiance's name, he uses different spelling like Stephen and Steven. On his brith certificate and passport, his name is Stephen but on other documents like his IRS or 1040, he uses Steven and also to some of the docs on our K1 application. Do you think it would create a problem? What shall i do?

I have talked to my friend also last night and told her about I and my fiance's meeting here in Philippines, We only met for 2 and half days, She said maybe the consul will question about it and have to be ready for it. It's just that no one would really take care of his business in the US and his mom was so sick at that time. We've known each other for two years, first we just got to know each other for one year and on March 6, 2008, that's the time that i decided to say yes. We do have enough proofs for our fiance interview application.

Plz guys i need your help and i hope you could share with me your ideas as soon as possible.

    Thank you!!

I just want to say Good luck to you and keep us posted.

  2. Ok guys and gals, I have some tax return/financial doc questions

As we just got our NOA2, my fiance will most probably be interviewing at earliest in April or end of March, right?

So I assume that instead of 2005, 2006, and 2007 tax returns, the CO would be interested in 2006, 2007, and 2008, correct?

And I am getting ready to send a packet of documents to my fiance (will be sending it to him when he gets his packet 4), and I was wondering how many copies of the financial documents am I supposed to send to my fiance?

The financial documents package looks like this:

    Part 1-Me:

    1.) My I-134-original

    2.) My 2008 tax return+ W-2 copies

3.) My Full Time Student Letter from Univ.-original

4.) Notarized explanation of "I am a student, therefore co-sponsor...details"-original

    Part 2-Co-sponsor:

    1.) Co-sponsor's I-134-original

2.) Co-sponsor's jointly filed 2006, 2007, 2008 tax returns copies( I have transcripts from the IRS also, should I add those?)

    3.) Co-sponsor's W-2s: 2006, 2007, 2008 copies

    4.) Letter from employer-original

    5.) Current paystubs copies

    6.) Proof of citizenship copy

7.) Notarized explanation of "Sponsor is student, there I am the co-sponsor...details..."-original

How many copies should I make of the entire packet???? Just one set prepared as I have listed above is fine? Or should I make a duplicate set of everything above?

    Help! :help:

I'm sorry to interupt but i was reading this thread and i was courios of some info: Does the co-sponsor have to be a US citizen or green card holder with be fine??

  3. Oh my God i can't believe this. I was checking my emails like crazy all day at work and when i came home what the hell let me check it again and we got approved. I'm so happy. I just want to thank you all for the help and support. For the people that haven't got approved yet hopefully it will be soon. I have one thing to say don't even bother callin the Service Center because they are not helpful at all. They will even get you more depressed.

Congrats, please update your timeline :)

Thats what i'm trying to do but i don't remember how i did it the first time.

Go into your own profile, click on "My Assistant" at the top of the screen, opens up a separate window and then click on "Edit/Add my timeline". That should do it.

It is so promising to see so many Vermont approvals.

Thank you and I hope you will get yours soon.

  6. I swear if you call USCIS they are the worthless people living in this planet. You ask to speak to a supervisor and they say they are busy. They can ready you they same B* that you can see only. I don't have any more patients to deal with them. When i go online to check the statues of the application the last two days the date has change. I don't know exactly what it means. I would appreciate any info.

  7. FRED what a sad pic :( I hope you will get to be with them for your bday:)

My babe is coming next saturday for a week ... I just dont want to think about the way to the airport It so bad, I cry almost all the way, and saying goodbye is the worst part....

HYENA and ANISA I hope after your RFE everything goes well and you get your approvals quick!

Mara, Dani, HappyDancer, Marm, .... girls, if it wasnt this week it is the next! dont you see? they are working on august cases (well this week I think everybody was on vacation) but the fact is that we are in the processing time, we still havent reach the 6 months, we are there we are closer, maybe we are losing it just because we are seeing everybody else being approved and people who filed after us .... lets just dont focus on those.... lets focus on the fact that we are close to the 6 months prossesing time, witch means we must get our approvals anyday ...

Lets focus on what we want, what we want is to get NOA2 ... so lets only think about that.... positives thoughts brings positives things!

Are you with me on this???? please girls I relly need you ALL to be with me on this,,,, I was thinking and thinking, we are losing our time and energies by crying and complaining about VSC approving everybody but us! STOP! hehehe they are going to approve us !.... OK?

I really believe in all this about feeling well, having good thoughts, and good thing will come to you, but ofcourse... some times I lose it! hehehe but I realize that we can not lose right now... now that we are so close!!!!

....... - Habibi and gumbo this is for both of you too!

I hope you all have a great weekend! and do anything that makes you feel good ... I feel much better today I hope you all do!

    Hugs!

    Mia
