    Ok guys i have a question and i know that i'm getting paranoid. Few weeks ago i received this notice:

    The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

    The question that i have is does it meant that it's transfer to California or to my homestate office. Thanks for any replys.

    Anisa, your timeline says that you were transferred on 11/19. Did you receive a hardcopy notice saying that it was transferred to CSC. I recieved one, but I also received an update like the one you posted saying that it ARRIVED @ CSC and is now being processed there. The 2nd message I got, also exactly like yours did not specify CSC like yours.

    45 days later....... Still no EAD approval! :crying:

    What's going on? I see other ppl who filed before and after me getting approved right on the oct avg!?!

    So frustrated......... :angry:

    I'm sorry if anybody got confused. Here is what i received in the first email

    On November 19, 2009, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

    Here what i got in the second email:

    The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

    I didn't have time to call them today but hopefully tomorrow and to see what's going on. Thank you everyone for all your help.

    It means that your I-485 was transferred to California. This is a good news because you won't have an interview for your AOS.

    Thank you, that"s what i thought in the biginning but than i started to doubt myself.

    Dont worry you still have time to be transfered to CSC if it is still early on in your processing.

    ok now i'm getting confused. What was the transfer for? Can somebody explain? Thanks

    It means that your I-485 was transferred to California. This is a good news because you won't have an interview for your AOS.

    if it was transfered to california service center then it would say right on it that it was transfered to california service center. If it does not have that on the notice then its likely it is not at CSC.

    No it only says USCIS office. So i guess it means in the state that i live. Thank you.

    Congrats Anisa!!

    I am really hoping for EAD approval soon!! I think they are slowing down though.... My estimated approval date on VJ jumped by 2 days :( (

    Haven't had a touch on EAD since 11/20. Touches on my 485 since transfer to CSC.... Well I think I'm at like 7! What's going on!?!?

    Thnx. You'll receive an approvel either friday or the latest monday. I have no idea whats going on with the 485 touches. I have been getting one every singel day. Lets just hope for the best.

    Hello all. I finally received my RFE letter today. I didn't put copies of our joint sponsor's tax information and proof of citizenship. ouf! Easy stuff. It'll be in the mail tomorrow!!!

    Good luck with everybody's RFE. Hope it's as easy as mine!

    PS. I think that for stats purposes, my RFE date should be today since I couldn't do anyting about it before now. What you all think?

    Probably i should get mine today and i really do hope is as easy as yours is.

    Anisa - I believe they stop processing everything including EAD & AP until they get the evidence they requested from you. Hopefully it will be something quick and easy for you to do and they will get right back on your case asap. You might want to try asking around the Sept filer board as they have already had some folks go through this who could help you better then we can yet :)

    I just got an update by email. They did send me and RFE request yesterday. I hope that it will be somethig that i can send it to them fast. I only hope it's not what am i thinking about.

    We are getting nothing in the mail and still showing as not found on the online system. I hope they did not try to send any RFE because we still have not received the original NOAs

    Give them a call and see if they can send you anothor NOAs.
