3.5 months in. All nice and cozy in our jobs and life. What else could we need? Oh, my stepsons! Looks like we will be doing some family-based visas here soon.

5 days in California and I already have a job. YAY! Now just to get husband's SSN so that he can get a job, too.

Flying to California on October 5th! Husband's POE will be in Newark, NY because the flight was cheaper! haha

My husband's VISA just got delivered! :)

VISA APPROVED! WOOHOO!

Just got my husband's letter for his interview! YAY!

NOA2 received! WOOO!

Some of our really good friends got their visa in the mail today. SO jealous, but also SO happy for them!

6 weeks and still no reponse to our petition. Frustrating.

Almost 4 weeks since they've had our petition and still no response. UGH. This is really setting the tone for the entire process..

$420 Petition fee was charged to our credit card today. Just waiting on petition approval now.

Starting our DCF in a couple weeks!
