Hi all,

well,I need a little help. I just got the letter for the RFE and I am.... stunned....

They are asking for the most recent tax documentation in order to process my application further.

I believe,that when we sent out the package we included IRS documents for years 2005,2006 and 2007.

Was I supposed to also sent IRS documents for 2008? By the time we sent it we still didn't have that done,nor we didn't have the information since the most recent year was 2007(for 2008)

I am a little confused....Am I supposed to send now IRS for 2008?

Well,

after going over all the photocopies that we made of the whole package sent, I believe that a mistake had been made although I was very clear to the person getting those tax information for us. We sent the W2's but not the 1099's. That person told us that it was not necessary.... I am going to tell him how necessary it was...my spanish blood is boiling

Hopefully I will get what was missing today and send it out again tomorrow.

I am confused also. When you filed, the most recent tax year was 2007, so that is what should be sent it. I can't imagine that they are going to ask you to send in your taxes for 2008. I would think that we would all be getting RFEs for this since we filed around the same time, and that is a lot of extra paperwork for them. I don't think they can penalize us like that for choosing to file at the end of the year. Hopefully the part of your AOS package that had the tax info simply got lost or misplaced and they need the documents replaced. Good luck, keep us posted...

when I thought I was free from any RFE's....... just got an email from CRIS stating that they sent today a letter requesting for evidence on case I-485

I'm really sad, I believe that even the EAD will be on hold until they get whatever they want from me about that RFE...

The I-864 is supporting documentation for your AOS, that is why you won't get an NOA for it.

my husband has 2 last names. just like everyone else in latin countries lol father's last name and then mother's last name. In his visa my husband comes out w/ both last names. "ESCOTO QUINTANILLA" but when we fill out the forms I-485, I-131, I-765 should i only put "ESCOTO" or should i out "ESCOTO QUINTANILLA"? thanks to all

He has to provide both lasts names, as it shows on his passport/visa

The $70 fee is only applies if youraffidavit of supoort is reviewed domestically.

Domestically means reviewed in the us? God,I am all confused,it must be my nerves

Ok, when filling out the form(G-325A),it is two(8 total pages) forms,one me and the other my husband.

NOW, I sign mine where it says applicants signature and on the black box below (COMPLETE THIS BOX).

Does my husband sign HIS or do I have to sign his as well since I AM THE APPLICANT?

Please,can anyone clarify this for me? I am sending out the package on thursday after I complete the medical examination and I would really appreciate any help from this forum.

They are right u need to sign your part and your husband has to sign his part. If you sign on behalf of your husband uscis might be suspicious and they might hold your paper. just my 2 cents

You are filing for AOS, the G325A attached to the I-130 (HIS petition) contains his details, so it must be signed by him, everyone else posting is correct. You are filing for adjustment of status, he is filing to petition you for a visa number - so you are applicants, hope that makes sense.

Are you filling out the forms for a K1 visa? If your response is yes, then I have to say to you that the forms request your email address as well your telephones numbers.
