Joe, I only have visited Houcine one time. He took with him for the first interview 60 pict., over 100 pages of emails, newspaper clipping of our engagement from my local paper, my itinerary from my trip along with boarding pass, our engagement ring receipt, ticket stubs for train/bus during my visit, and then last week he took in another 20 pages of emails, phone records, and finanacial infor from me and my parents. The lady who has done the interview did not give a reason why, just said case is still pending he would be contacted. Im not sure what is going on in that embassy but there are several people waiting right now and no one has been issued a visa. I am hoping they are backlogged or something. My gripe is not with the time aspect of the whole thing, my (our) gripe is with the way he (Houcine) has been treated and spoken to by this lady interviewer. She has been very unproffessional, seems to be biased, and just very judgemental. All of these things are what she SHOULD NOT be in her job. Her job, as we know, is to look at the evidence and make a judgement call on whether it shows a real relationship. I dont think she has even looked at the evidence, by comments she has made to Houcine. But, I will wait for a reply from the email I sent yesterday and if it is generic, I will be calling them again and demand to speak with someone with some sort of authority. THis is just so frustrating to know that our fate lies in this womans hands. Rachel and Houcine
Hi Rach,
Sorry to hear about the way Houcine was treated and the delays in your case. It would be very frustrating to not be given a reason for the delay. We wish you the best.
Greg
Thanks Greg, I know things will be ok, we will just wait.

Hi everyone, Houcine went today for second interview. OMG! Same lady he interviewed the first time, VERY RUDE AND DISRESPTFUL! She said she didnt believe our relationship was true. She said his visa is still pending. I immediately called the consulant and conplained about her and why she didnt really give him a reason. I was told that the best way to have my complaint heard was to send an email. So I did. Houcine was very upset and hurt at the way she treated him and the things she said. I will wait for a reply and if is just a generic reply then I will call again and ask to speak with a supervisor. It really was dissapointing because they had told him to bring his passport which is usually a good thing and means you have been approved. We will wait....all will be fine.

Houcine received a 221g yesterday, March 30th from the lady in his interview. His was for 'review of evidence of the relationship.'
He had all documents, that was not a problem. SHe took the evidence, didnt look at it at all. SHe did ask him were he was going to live, he told her, with me and my parents. He has the support papers and she didnt want them!!!
So, we wait.

Yes, AP, the same as a 221 g. The one checked, need to review your evidence of relationship.
I just feel all of us who rely on employees of the embassy in the country of our SO... are just screwed.
It seemed the lady Houcine interviewed with was just in a 'bad mood'. Maybe she didnt like what he was wearing! lol
We just pray for a speedy process of this.
We will call every few days until his visa is approved.
Thanks everyone

Houcine had his interview this morning, March 30. Everything had gone well, then he was called by a woman who aked him alot of questions about my employer. Studid ?s, like she was trying to trip him up. Im a nanny for a 3 year old boy, not much to tell. Anyway, she asked for evidence of relationship, took it, did not look at it and issued him a 221g said they would call.
Houcine is going to call first thing tomorrow am, 8:00, and ask about it. We will call everyday until they issue it.
Houcine had eveidence 3 inches thick, nicely bound and catagoriezed with tabs and a table of contents. We have no MORE eveidence. We gave them all we had. Oh, its just so frustrating!!!
Hope all goes well for others interviewing in Casa.

After we knew the papers had been sent fromNVC, I waited about 1 week and emailed the embassy and asked for the date. They responded with 2 days and gave us the date. Houcine received his packet about 1 week later.
-
how long did you guys all wait from the time the nvc sent your papers to casablanca morocco to the time they sent you the paperwork in the mail
also
how long did you wait to get an interview
tystie,
I dont know if this helps...we filed K-1 fiance visa. NVC sent our paperwork to Casa within 1 week of our NOA2. Then I waited a week and emailed the embassy and they repsonded withing 2 days with Houcines interview date. He then received his packet in about 1 week after that, and it had his official letter with the interview date along with instructions and forms to fill out. Hope this helps.

Im curious about the AOS process. We know to file the I-864 along with I-765 and I-131. I read on a post something about a 'tempory work pass" that they will send you. HELP! What is this, do they automaticly send it to you? How long does it normally take to recieve 'green card'. And, when this is recieved you are legally able to work? And yes, I will conplain about the cost of filing this AOS! As if we havent put out enough money already....! Ok that was my gripe! Any help would be great. We are at the interview stage, so we will be filing this in about 1 month, I hope! Thansk in advance for help

I got a email from consulant today confirming his new interview data. It said physical, police report, etc., would be good for 1 year from date of issue. So that is a least good to know. So more waiting, again.
-
Houcine received a phone call from the consulant in Casablance and they rescheduled his interview from March 5th to March 30th. How disapointing. They said they had overscheduled and had to call about 60 people and make new appointments. That just sounds ridiculus!!! How can a consulant run with idiots over scheduling people. Pretty sad!!! Well, I sent off another email to get the confirmation on the date and asked to be sure his physical, police check and other documentation would still be valid. He has everything ready now. How frustrating!! Well, we dont really have a chose except the accept the situation, even though it STINKS!!!!

Houcine Received his packet Feb-12 and he then made Dr. appointment... and went to it this morning (Feb-13)! All went fine at Dr.Appointment... the Dr. gave him the sealed envolope to carry to the interview in Casa.... He said Dr. was very nice and made jokes.... We are so excited and ready for March 5 for his interview! Hope Good News for Everyone!

Ok, I have a ?. Probably not the right place to ask but here goes. When filling out the I-134: I fill one out and my parents are going to be co-sponsors. They both have income. Do they fill out 2 seperate I-134's? We want to count both of the incomes. Help!
Someone had posted that Casa doesnt require the I-134, but on the embassy page it stated that it is a good idea to have it with in case they ask for it, (dont want that to be the reason for denial of visa).

Yes we did. We both had several letters to each other along with a boxex I sent to him of gifts and him to me. We copied the top of the box that showed the address, postal and all that. So again I not sure what else we could have had. WE also had snail mail f rom his family to my parents and my parents to his family.
