i'm just checking the package sent through it's tracking number. i think it's impossible to retrieve the package anymore. i'm not sure though if he paid extra to expedite the service. just crossing my fingers that the papers will arrive before the 20th of february.

another question is, do i still need to fill up and provide DS 230 for my interview?

because when i checked this link, http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwfk1en.pdf about k1 interview preparations, DS 230 was not mentioned.

  3. i passed my medical last february 9 and 10. my problem now is, SLEC have my passport 'coz they'll be the one forwarding my passport and medical forms to US embassy.. i haven't paid my interview fee at BDO. my friend said that, she showed her DS 157 form and passport upon paying the interview fee.

my question is, can BDO accept my payment without my passport? or should i go back to SLEC and borrow my passport for a while, then pay at interview fee at BDO, then return to SLEC just to give back my passport.. which sounds not easy to do.. there are lot of applicant there and they might now prioritize my concern.

another problem is: the paper works needed for US embassy interview from my fiance was sent today thru UPS. UPS said that TENTATIVE delivery date is: february 20, 2009. that really depends on the bureau of customs... i'm now worried if UPS will deliver it later than february 20. my interview date is february 24, and last date for rescheduling my interview is february 20. should i move my interview date or just pray that UPS will be delivering my papers on time. any suggestions please? is UPS really reliable? :(

  4. o Employment Certificate

    o Copy of ITR

o SSS request for ID copy

do i really need to produce these three?

i'm a part time college instructor and the school doesn't issue employment certificates for part timers.

i'm not sure if the school will provide a copy of ITR. all my documents were submitted there.. and i dont have a copy left..

i work under the government, but i dont have GSIS number or whatsoever just because i'm just a part timer..

  5. NVC wrote my fiance with my MNL case number and telling him that i'll be receiving a packet mail. blah.. blah.. blah..

first question: my fiance is now fixing his affidavit of support.i just want to know the complete list of all the required papers that he needs to work on..

second question: what kind of proof of communications can we use and present? what are the acceptable proofs?

third question: after receiving the packet and the affidavit of support, what's the next step?

    thanks in advance..

  8. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICANTS CONCERNING VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

United States immigration law requires immigrant visa applicants to obtain certain vaccinations (listed below) prior to the issuance of an immigrant visa. Panel physicians who conduct medical examinations of immigrant visa applicants are required to verify that immigrant visa applicants have met the vaccination requirements, or that it is medically inappropriate for the visa applicant to receive one or more of the listed vaccinations:

    -- Acellular pertussis

    -- Hepatitis A

    -- Hepatitis B

    -- Human papillomavirus (HPV)

    -- Influenza

    -- Influenza type b (Hib)

    -- Measles

    -- Meningococcal

    -- Mumps

    -- Pneumococcal

    -- Pertussis

    -- Polio

    -- Rotovirus

    -- Tetanus and diphtheria toxoids

    -- Varicella

    -- Zoster

    my question are:

    1. do i really have to complete all these vaccinations before leaving?

    2. can these vaccinations be availed to any clinics who offers these kinds of shots?

    3. can i have these done in US instead here in the Philippines?
