    We met online in 2008. I'm not ashamed to say it. It's been an adventure and I currently live in India with him and his family. The immigration system has not been fair in any way through this last 4 years but we've not lost hope yet.

      DCF rejected on the basis that I don't live in India (which is #######, I've lived here a year and had power bills, residency permits and more - none of which they even wanted to see). We never got past the window to start the process. The Indian woman behind the counter told me that none of the embassy laws/rules/guidelines matter. Only what she said did.
