  1. We scheduled your oath ceremony for Receipt Number NBC**********. We sent a notice with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony to the address you gave us. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by December 19, 2015, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

  2. You are eligible for Naturalization 90 days before your 3 years green card anniversary base on your marriage to a US citizen or 90 days before your 5 years green card anniversary base on your permanent residency. You do not have to apply on the exact day of your anniversary or within the 90 days, you can apply 1 day, 1 year, 4 years...later it's up to you once you are eligible. I applied 6 months after I became eligible. By the way I'm originally from Cameroon. Good luck to you guys.

  3. I'm in the same boat, I applied 02/06/2015 (159 days and counting) and I have my biometrics on 03/12/2015 (125 days and counting) my online status still is "On February 25, 2015, we scheduled you for a fingerprint appointment and mailed you an appointment notice for Receipt Number NBC**********. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your appointment notice by March 27, 2015, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address." I called the FBI who told me that they could not tell me anything, I called USCIS and requested to talk to a Tier 2 Officer, who called me two hours later to tell me we are still waiting on your background check. Yet, I seen people who applied two months after me at the same USCIS field office (Pittsburg, PA) on this forum and other forums who are almost at the end of the tunnel...

  4. Please advise me on what to do here, I mailed my application on 02/06/15, got the priority date of 02/09/15 and my biometric was done on 03/12/15, I received this email late this after from one of my Senator office:

    Good Afternoon,

As of today, your case is still in the background check process. According to the NBC, you may expect a 3-6 month or greater wait for the front end processing of the case before it is scheduled for an interview. We will check again in 45-60 days.

    Sincerely,

How can that be possible when someone who applied for naturalization on 01/30/15 (11 days before me) took oath to become a citizen on 05/29/15 and someone else who also applied on 01/30/15 have an interview set for 07/02/15 and another person who applied on 02/09/15 (3 days after me) has an interview set for 06/18/15...something is wrong here when it supposed to be first come first serve.

    Thank you in advance.

  5. I received the email notification today that my waiver has been approved. It was approved on September 9th.

I’m out of words right now because I’m so happy. After I collect my emotions I will post again with more details.

God is great all the time and He answer prayers, I’m a living proof of it. To all who are waiting, keep the faith and trust in him, He will make it happen for you.

I could not have done this with the support of this forum. Thank you for everything.

    God bless you all.

  7. Today is my 30 days out of the 180 days time frame for adjudication of my waiver. So the earliest I could hear something is today. What’s really going on at the DHS/USCIS office in Accra, Ghana? The last decision I can recall from that office was an approval on December 22nd, 2010. Eight months later nothing has been hear from that office. But yet they tell the elected official that they are backlogged because they are short in staff, backlogged for eight months?…”DOES NOT MAKE MUCH SENSE TO ME”

  8. Greetings,

I received an email yesterday from DHS/USCIS office in Accra, Ghana acknowledging that they received my waiver application yesterday and that it will take 30 to 180 days to adjudicate my waiver. The wait has begun. Thank you everyone for the prayers and thoughts. God bless you!!!!

  9. Yesterday I filed the Waiver of Inadmissibility. At this point we have done everything we can do it is now in the hands of God and the Government. This is the make or break for my return to the US. All we can do now is pray for a speedy approval. I ask that you continue to pray as you have done throughout this entire process. I appreciate all the prayers, thoughts, love, support you have shown me and my family. God bless you!!!!
