Beth, I am leaving tomorrow morning at 4amfor Wilmington NC. leave Wilmington on Friday morning for JFK. and I get to Amman 24th at 4pm.

My toes are still pokadotted from last time. Lets see I tried calling today for finding out if I was being adjudicated yet. The lady on the other side of the line said well one of your petitions has bee approved I said EXCUSE ME.. she said one of your petitions is approved according to the computer and the choices you selected in the automated system. I said mam I only have one petition my recipt number is wac blah blah blah... she said what was your last name yadadadad oh your case is recieved and pending... yes mam I realize that ... can you tell me If my case has been assigned to an adjudications officer. she then proceeded with the reponse I am sure tht they have recorded on a piece of paper... your petition was recieved ... your in normal processing times call back when you are out of normal processing times.

I almost had a heart attack and then she gives me the plain vanilla response. I was so TICKED OFFFFF..

Beth congrats on lapbaby and RFE being accepted. I am sure you will be ok just give them a few days to look through the papers, and dont forget to call because god knows they cant keep up with our precious paperwork...

Thank you everyone for your well wishes I am more than excited about the trip I have been planning. I need to see my husband and my attorney. He needs paperwork for NVC and I need to quit spazing out about it all.

so I have not canceled my trip but it looks as if I will not be spending any time with my husband as he has Mashakle and is to busy with those problems (he created) to see me. This is the last time I will be able to visit until after november.

Okay, go there at 7am waited till 8:30 for a lousy 2 minute confusion. Firstly, officer asked me what is proxy marriage?

Then asked is husband here, while she was looking at the RFE. I tried to show and explain to her the evidence I submitted, she said might of got lost, just send then marriage license? What? Idoits!. So I spent 2 days coping all evidence to show we were together for honeymoon from our "Randsome pic" of us holding newspapers dated the time 2 days AFTER I got to France to the day I left. I also enclosed a DVD of our tour of Eiffel tour shows the date, and the Statue of Liberty.

A complete print our of dates of the frames and how long they are, also pointed out if they watch it, they will see we turned camera around to see our faces together. Plus all the back to back ATM/Debit card transactions of our purchases moments apart, at the same place, date and time, copies of our debit cards so they can see his receipts VS. my receipts.

Im more frustrated after leaving USCIS today. I also did a Sworn affadavit stating our marriage was consummated, and he did a statement of the same. So off it goes to them today via UPS. Say a pray for me girls.

Praying for you Beth. Have to love them genious people working for the US government makes me about everything.

I realize that they dont all specialized in marriage based immigration issues but come on ???????? you made an appointment clearly they knew what kind of visa you had could the interviewer not at least be prepaired for her/his day at work ?

I just had my certified translation of my marriage certificate and my old DL they changed it on the spot.

If you book your travel in your married name make sure to have your marriage certificate with you.

Just wondering if at all how accurate the time line that VJ shows is? I realize that it jumps around quite and bit. The date is showing now is past my NOA1 date.

Oh when calling CSC do you have to ask for an officer? Husband has called a few time and ever time gets told the same thing as the website says, which is nothing.

yeah, you can ask for an officer.

most of our calls, we made sure not to ask questions that are answerable by the standard lines.

hmmm. Beth, what did you find out about formats for sending in evidence ? What did hubster say when you told him ? I think this is absolutly crazy you have been together for how long ??? I dont know everything that goes on at USCIS doesnt make sense.

I should go out, but I have a 3 year old and I really don't have anyone to keep her for me. My mom keeps her during the week when I am at work, so I hate to ask her to keep her more than that. My sister is getting a divorce & is living with my parents, has a 4 year old of her own that she doesn't take care of very well...so I can't ask her....I just moved back to my hometown and I don't really have any friends here...so....I just have to wait. I'm kind of used to it now. Work keeps my mind off of immigration for the most part, I stay distracted...its just late at night after my daughter has gone to bed when I really wish I had my man here to talk to & watch movies with...etc.

I tried to not take it out on the girls and guys at work. My night started fantastic I got a man from Pakistan in my section and then his friend from Egypt joined about 30 min later. We had a basic little egyptian conversation. It makes me feel good that someone can ask me for a drink or this or that and I understand. IT WAS SO SLOW at work ... ridiculus slow not even a wait tonight on a Friday ????

I am going to hold off on clubing him for now, he did call and leave me a few voicemails at work. As for the other ticket i just told him he could price it. If he has the time to do an interview for a visa pack and plan a trip then he can make his own reservation.

again it would be different if he said hey you want to go to UK with me to see my sister. we can do maybe this or this... see this or that.

I am much better after being at work all night.... my new and old friends are very upset it was my last night at job 2 (( as far as I know))

Bets... he doesnt ever think things completely through. I am beggining to see the downside to younger guys. At least with the older ones they have had the lesson foot meet mouth or wife made me sleep on coach a week. I am hopeing they let him go back to UNI ... i mean we still dont know what the punishment will be either expulsion or losing semesters credits. I am sad to say it but I am hopeing for the latter. I realize it will mean him staying another 5 or 6 months but maybe it will do him good to realize there are real consequences for our actions.

Im still learning the whole post thing, wow I missed a lot when I left work for a while, I got an RFE..lol Well at least not yet:) I will try and do better with my posts, as I'm probally not doing this one right either. Well I have to play boss tonight at work, my supervisor once again has called in.

He started by telling me something stupid and arabian... then refused to talk anymore about it because he was upset about losing credits for school. I think it had something to do with him moving here from the TINY bit he did talk about it.

I have my suprise visit still planned even if it is for aday and 1/2 ..... I am going to club him over the stinking head.

then he asked if i could price him a ticket to see his sister for summer break .. he is going to try to see her and not me. Sometimes I cant stand how I dont seem to be a priority ... I do realize even if we applied for a visitors or tourist visa it would be denied but you know the suggestion would have helped...

I then proceeded to tell him... he makes decisions for US not just him anymore and that was a STUPID decision and now WE would face the consiquence of waiting longer. NOT just HIM all of us, all 4 me the girls and him..

its prayer time now so I am not going to bother him but my god why would you get in a fight for soemthing you yourself call "stupid"

Hey Castaways, got E-mail from CRIS. RFE dated May 14th. I was truly hoping to get it in mail Friday or Saturday the latest. Wonder ,could they of mailed it a day or two earlier, and only said May 14th in the email as being sent out???

Anyways, least got email of RFE BEFORE I got hardcopy, lately USCIS has been doing it backward, LOL., right Betsy???

My day was good (by the way thank you for wishes ... hope same for you) until i talked to my goofy husband.. He is causeing problems at school and even if my petition gets approved he cant come until december now because he is a regular albert einstine.

He might be losing all of the classes for this summer because he made the choice to fight at school. I get that ... he feels the need to defend himself but at the cost of another semester of school ... IT ISNT CHEAP... sometimes i dont think men use their brain before making decisions....

Beth do you still have the sticker that has your code of operating system on the bottom of laptop. If you do you can take it to a local computer repair shop and they can restore you and possibly recover your hard drive. Last time I had to do it (last year) was around 100$ for restore and he burnt my hard drive data to a disk for 25$. What can I say he loves me.

I am really sleepy today its been raining for almost 2 weeks every single day. I could use a day of sunshine I am looking rather vampire-ish. I cannot tan at the tanning bed no time and I dont really care for the idea of risking more spot removal.

Hello everyone!!! Well we are back from Lexington and things went fairly well for a spine surgery. My sister is in lots of pain and I think only time will tell how successful it all is. Anyway, I got back home just to find my dad has been hospitalized for a mystery infection in his leg. Ah well. Life is great The good news is that we got our AOS bill and ds 3032 today and I have paid them. So life can be good sometimes Beth, no news yet chick??? Courtney how are you?? Glad to be back with you guys!!!!

as for me I got good news today it looks as if my suprise trip will actually go through. I got news today that my passport hit the mail est arrival date is the 19th accourding to the post office. The day before my scheduled trip.

when I buy my contacts my clears run me 20 USD a box and my colors about 30 a box. It depends on the brand though my Acuvues seem to be a little more expensive. so are the wear 30 days at a time I cant remember the brand name. I am bad to my eyes I wear mine weeks at a time. My allerges are awful if I take them out there is no way in heck that I am getting them in when I wake up in the morning.

I agree it is a dang waste of money.

No news on selling house looks like I will be renting it. It will give me a little extra stability in case I hate the beach I will always have the house to come back to. Plus I really LOVE my red living room and choc. and tapioca kitchen ... I dont know what I will do when I cant paint my walls whatever color I want. I am also assuming there will be no more painting once I get there do not want to damage floors... not taking any chances.

I finally got news on my passport it has been 6 weeks. They appologized said there would be a mass mailing some time this week call back at 5 to get the exact date. WTH....... I have to wait on everything and on top of that the guy said the system has been malfunctioning all day.

aparently it isnt just USCIS it is also the US Passport issuance agency as well.

I made a deal with myself I am not going to Jordan if I do not have the passport by 20th. So if it isnt here it isnt here I am not going.

I made a Info Pass appointment for this Friday, and will attend IF I still dont have RFE letter, I wonder if my Info Pass appoinment caused the touch? , cause I gave them my case number, it was part of the information and etc when making the online appoinment. OR, USCIS finally sent me my RFE. Trying to second guess USCIS is hopeless and nerve wracking.
