Our journey started on 21 November,2007( my priority day) ended today,almost 16months of waiting and hoping that the process can go little bit faster.a lot of paper work to do and to send by ( FEDEX).I had ,sometimes, felt tired,exhausted,but never alone,knowing that I found the right women for me and the perfect mother for my kids, makes feel so happy that forgot all those days of waiting and these endless nights. After all of that, my wife finally,had her interview at Casablanca consulate in Morocco yesterday, every thing went fine because I told my wife that it's just procedure that you have go through no to prove that you love me but to show to administrator that our relationship is very real. She went there she sat on her seat waiting to be called. When it was for questions which very simple to answer here the list of these questions: how had you met? what he is doing in U.S.A? how long he has been living there? when the first you had met him personally? when did you decide to marry him? do you have some pictures to show me? the lady looked at some pictures and asked my wife where did you take this picture? she told her at Ouzoud water fall,it was nice picture, she likes this picture a lot after that the lady asked her to come back the next day to get her visa.Today she went there to get her visa, they gave an envelope and a stamp on her passport it says that she has 6months to stay in Morocco from today ( 03/17).

Even though our journey so long I have learned that when you found the right person to be the other half of your soul the rest seems "nothing" just nothing...

Cost of Medical Exam?

1,600 MAD for men as of January 2009 (Dr. Khadija Zirari)

This covers the costs of your chest x-ray (to check for TB) and the cost of 4 vaccines (DT/DTP/DTap, Polio/OPV/IPV, MMR, and Varicella).

she did all those stuff, they told her to get back ten days after all these had been done. she still nervous about the interview though! which kind of questions they can ask her?

Congratulations on getting a March interview. According to the Embassy/Consulate information posted here there are 4 to chose from, so I am guessing you can pick one and make an appointment.

Phones/Addresses of each doctor will be sent in Packet 3.

Best to call ahead for appointment.

Doctors will ask you to bring your interview appointment letter and passport.

Some doctors will forward your medical results directly to the Consulate but some will give you the packet to take to the interview yourself. The envelope will be sealed and instructions will be given NOT TO OPEN it.

As my wife's agent i got today the interview letter.she has her interview scheduled on March 16th at 800 AM, but this letter does not say which doctor she has see...?? either where she has to do her chest X-ray...

I think it takes DHL atleast a day or so to update all the different shipments through that method. I was checking for shipments on the 12th Feb (AVR says my package was sent to consul on the 12th), but nothing arrives, but for the 11th, everything shows up online.

WOOOWWWWWWWWW works, I have the # of shipment,that's cool! it says "Shipment delivered" left NVC 02/11 Delivered to Casablanca Consulate on: 2/16/2009 3:24 pm.

My case was complete on 01-23-09, i called the NVC they told me that my wife should have her interview on March( not sure), I am wondering if some one here in this website had experience with Casablanca Consulte that he/she can share with us. My wife is very worried about this interview.

My second question is what kind of papers my wife has to bring with her to interview in Casablanca consulate,Morocco?

Casa changes the rules at will. When we interviewed they were not asking for or even taking the financial docs from fiance visa clients. You need to get the requested paperwork from your fiancee and take it to Casa as soon as you can so they can complete your case. They won't be calling you until you do that.

I called yesterday NVC, they told that my case is complete and the next step will be scheduling for an interview, I was surprised to see that happened quickly, they received my case 11/05/08 and the case was complete on 1/23/09. the lady she told me over the phone that i have to wait till March to see an interview and she is not sure how long it takes that will take for the interview all depends on the #number of cases sending to Casablanca Consulate. my questions are when I will get the interview letter? how the interview will be for my wife in Morocco? I will appreciate all your support and help during this long journey .....thank you a lot

I did not know that we have to send police and marriage certificate to the NVC. Do we send the beneficiaries or the petitioners certificates to the NVC????

I think you missing some pages of her /his passport, I am not sure

strange as it may seem i never once got anything on the automated system excpet something like case not in the system yet and im speaking of the whole process and now its done i always used a operator

My Question is as follow: why they never asked for a police report for my wife (Beneficiary) ? my cases is a NVC since 05/11/ they send 3 packages( 3230 form,form I 864, AOS bill, and the last one IV fee bill with the 230 form)so far, but they never montioned this police report...

I think they will send you a checklist with missing documents. you will have to submit the originals accompanied with an english translation to NVC. I went thru CR1, I submitted in addition to the ds230 forms, Marriage contract, the police certificate"=fiche anthropometrique", "court records = sijil Adli", Complete copy of birth certificate, 2 photos, copy of passport biographic data

(I didn't send the passport expiration page and received a checklist with missing documents: valid passport, when they received it they completed the case and forwarded it to casa).

Keep calling NVC and speak to different operators, explain your situation so they can give you detailed answers. Good luck

First of all, I would like to thank all the VJ members for the information they provide but I also would like to ask something about the interviews and especially the ones conducted in Casablanca.

In 2 weeks my husband will go for an interview in Casablanca and therefore I would like to know whether the fact that his brother is the one who introduced us to each others is a red flag? Does he have to state or not this fact if he is asked during his interview?

He should definitely tell the truth if asked how you met (and he probably will be asked). It could be a red flag, but don't try to hide it. He should emphasize how your relationship blossomed, the things you have in common, etc.

I just recieved a mail from NVC asking to pay the affidavit of support (OAS) fee and another of choice of address and agent.I am wondering how to deal with that last form. I will pay fee online tonight but I need a help with the other form which start with the name of my wife...so do I need to send this paper to her or what>????

That has to be completed and signed by the applicant, not the petitioner. This has to be done before the IV Bill generates and it's after that gets paid you send the ds 230 and the supporting documents.

you meant i have to fax the form to Morocco, wait til she will fax it back, and then send all the papers together, do want me to pay that OAS fee now, another question what about Affidavit of Suport fee BILL, how can I pay it?

You can pay both fees on-line. In about 2-3 days you go back on line and print out your receipt and bar code Docs for the AOS and DS230 and send the bar code sheets with info they want. (Make sure you keep the AOS docs separate from the DS230 docs)

They will need her original signature on Part I (blue ink) You can fax it to her or scan and email it to her, or email her an attachment of PDF file doc. But she will have to FED EX it back to you with the orginal signature. Then you will send that with the other docs (orginal birth certificate with cert English translation if appl., Orginal Marriage Cert., Police Certs, Copy of her Passport, Her 2 Passport Photos,) You to send need the orginal of all documents and one copy.

Which both fees you are talking about, there is just one OAS fee, you meant affidavit of support (I-864)Fee Bill....can i pay that one online????
