Your female friend is in Pakistan right now and her mother in law (also in Pakistan) is keeping her GC, SS card and State ID. Right?

If that's the case, she should go to the police NOW and make a complaint report that her mother in law stole her personal ID cards! Or better yet she can ask for a police escort to come with her to her mother in law's house to get back the IDs.

Mother is law is in the US.

Guys, my priority date is 12th september 2012 with CSC. i got transferred to NBC to my local office. yesterday i made an info pass and talked to the IO. he told me that my case is sitting in St. Paul MN office ( local) and waiting to be assigned to an officer. he told me that the case is been in local office for over a month and no body has touched it. that was all he could tell me. he said that he can not do anything with my case for the period of 120 days. he said the case was transferred because of workload in CSC.

i am not very happy with them.

well just wanted to share with you guys.

One question, should i write a letter to expedite my case to the local office supervisor??? would it be good idea?thanks

My NOA1 date is 12 September, so its: i filed with Chicago lockbox and sent to CSC and transferred to NBC on 20th September.

12 September + 76-82 = 27 November - 3 December.

my priority date is September 12 and i filed with CSC and got transferred to NBC then i put an inquiry and sent me letter saying that they have forwarded my request to St paul MN office. it kind of tells me that my case is in local office of MN. i dont know

Got an update. I 130 was transferred to MO from CSC but now is being processed in USCIS office.

I filed I-130 for spouse and minor daughter on 9/11/2012 and received letter from CSC that my cases are transferred to NBC Lee's Summit MO.

No pictures or G325 are required for children.

I am new us citizen. getting ready to file on 7th September for wife and daughter. daughter is 2 years old. a quick question is, Do i have to submit G 325A for my daughter and her passport size pictures?

A US citizen friend of mine field for his wife i 130. His petition is approved by CIS and now it is almost done with DOS. they are asking for I 864 and the visa forms so she can get visa. Here is a problem. She was pregnant when he filed for her and now she is all ready to get visa to usa and her new born jumps in.

My question is ,

1.Does he needs to file a separate i 130 for his child who is born in Abroad?

2. my friend has been living in the usa for over 10 years and become citizen two years ago, is his child already a us citizen?

3. If the child is US citizen does the child needs to be mentioned on i 864?

4. An intended immigrant (his wife) needs to complete i 864 A because she is accompanying with her child?

ANy suggestion will help him.

My husband has his interview yesterday. It went extremely well and only took at 15 minutes. We had "front loaded" our N-400 application so for the interview we just brough updated documents as well as our original marriage contract, passport and translations for both. The officer looked as his drivers license, green card and his passport but did not require the translations.

The officer asked my husband a few questions, my birthday, his birthday, the date we got married, if we had been married prior (which we hadn't), what I did for work, and who my husband lives with. He also asked him about his trips out of the US back to Morocco and if I had gone with him, I went with one time but not the second time.

After this he was asked to read a sentence "Abraham Lincoln was president during the civil war" and he had to write "Lincoln was a president". Next began the civics portion, he was asked six questions: Name one of the longest rivers in the US, How many years is the president's term, who was in the US prior to the europeans, who is the speaker of the house, what is the first 10 ammendments called, when was the constitution adopted.

After that the officer told my husband "congratulations I recommend you for citizenship" He was told that he will receive a letter scheduling the oath ceremony soon. I was shocked at how quick this interview was, I barely had time to play angry birds on my cellphone.

Hi i see that you are in St. Paul. i am too. I had my interview on August 02 and i passed my interview on 2nd august. the officer told me that my ceremony might be on 22nd or in September 6th. I am getting worried because it has been a week and no letter yet. I just wanted to see if you could let me know when you get your letter. thanks in advance

You have not provided enough information. Read form I-864p to figure if he qualifies.

Here is the rough calculations;

ASSUMMING that he has current I-864s in place for the 6 LPRs that he sponsored, his household count will be 7 including himself.

$50,000 allows him 2 more people. If he has A wife and kids (that are not part of the 6 LPRs), hen he does not make enough.

You need to figure out his household size. Follow the directions for form I-864 to figure it out. Then, you use his household size to look I he makes enough to sponsor additional people.

Without good information from you, we cannot give you a better answer.

He is Catholic Priest and no wife or children. the only people he has sponsored are his legal responsibility. He is single plus six people he sponsored. that is it.

My question is the person/CoSponsor i am talking to has already Sponsored 7 people and one has become citizen already. His income is over 50000.00. Is he still eligible to cosponsor my family??? appreciate help.

Your are a citizen so once u make the poverty line, u should not have problems bringing ur wife and kid. An IR1 for wife and IR2 for the kid seems appropriate. Except there is something you are not telling. It should literally be a walk in the park.
