We paid $25 for the td shot, but another $50 for the 10 minute appt. fee, I guess that covers the doctor's time to review the old record to see what's needed, what's not, etc.

That's great news, I don't feel so alone after all. I'm in the same boat, got biometrics super fast, but also not in the database for checking case status online.
I wonder how much longer we should wait before asking around why the receipt number isn't in the online status check yet.

Unavoidably, it was a wishful thinking on my part, anyway, can't complain.

We just got our Biometrics appt as well, only 2 weeks after we filed for AOS! That's faster than my wildest imagination.

Sorry to hear that. Just curious, what was the reason for the AOS denial?

I can't believe my wife told me that she just received the Biometrics appointment letter today for 2/22/06, exactly 2 weeks after we sent in AOS package. Not sure if it's for AOS or EAD, I have to go home and read it tonight, either way I'm happy.
Also, I'm not sure what does this mean as far as AOS interview date or EAD, it generally takes up to a year for AOS interview and 60-90 days for EAD, ours can't be that fast. I wish I was wrong.

I read somewhere in this or "Working & Traveling prior to getting a Green Card" forum that you don't have to have a separate statement for the reason when applying AP when applied with AOS together, and some people got their AP that way. So we didn't include a reason for the application, hopefully we won't get a RFE.
It's silly that USCIS requires such a statement as the rules have been relaxed, they know perfectly that it's human nature to visit their home country after being away for some time.
Wow!! I'm impressed! Biometrics appts K1/K2

Maya,
Thanks for sharing your experience. It sounds I better just hold off calling and hoping the later events takes place when they should. So far I've gotten NOA and biometrics appt, so I can't imagine the case is not in THEIR system.
Please keep us posted.
