I'm just curious how did USEM find out that he was married. Do they call NSO to make their own investigation?

They do investigation,most likely a secret investigation and applicants required to show proof of singleness too.

yes,bcoz even if he attend the interview,he will still have the denial bcoz he got married.It happened to the brother of my mom's friend.When their father petitoned him single F1...he got married and thought the USEM will not knew about his status,so he went to his interview and he was shocked that the USEM found out that he's not single anymore and thats the reason of his denial.

just recently when we are here already in the US, our lawyer made a letter that my brother was already married. It's better to tell the truth because we all know that telling a lie is a big issue, right!( We received our petitioned January 1993, my brother got married 1992) it's i think in my mom's case, she doesn't have any idea while applying for a petition for his son as F1 Single is that, he is married already)

I'm just bothered about this NVC told me that his papers went to USCIS wherein my mom will gonna apply again for a petition but our lawyer wants to justify that the petitioner is a US Citizen. i just submitted my AOS nung march 10 coz i just had my 2nd shot of varicella a week before that and we're hoping to have the a[[roval of my AOS after sept 25 (our 2nd weeding anniversary) para IR na makuha ko (hopefully).

well, like stephnria, malaki din nagastos ko sa vaccine kahit pa sa department of health ako nagpavaccine. 1st visit $245 for the Tdap, MMR and Varicella then 2nd visit $111 for the 2nd varicella shot. tapos, $30 ung transcription fee ni dr. arnold.

it's very much different here in vegas or nevada. medyo maluwag. since day 1, ive been driving with my international driver's license and 2 weeks after i got an instruction permit na without an SSN. di kailangan sa DMV dito. but binulungan ako nung taga DMV na i can still drive using my international license kasi the permit allows u to drive lang if u are with someone with a Nevada driver's license and i cant survive doing that kasi si hubby lagi nasa work. i went to DMV ang passed the written test, 2 mistakes!!! (yabang!!) then, i was scheduled sa actual driving test ko feb 23, 12noon bumagsak ako. hahhaha.. it's easy to learn but really hard to unlearn habits...###### ang examiner ko. di pa nagsisi,ula mainit na ulo. gutom na yata kasi 12 noon ang sched ko. im scheduled for my 2nd actual march 30th. wala ako advice kasi it's different per state at examiner at tyempuhan din daw sa mabait na examiner kasi ung friend ko dito halos bumagsak na sya sa poste nung 3rd take nya eh pinasa pa daw sya at nakakuha license.

ping, jamesnrei, may SSN na kayo? how fast na-approve EAD nyo? how many days from the time you filed it til the approval? did you submit it with your AOS? mababaliw na ko. gusto ko na magwork. bakit may nagpost dito, si minang yata, she's on a K1 visa pero after 2 weeks nareceive na daw nya yung greencard nya at SS card, tama ba?

do i just wait now? i've submitted my AOS, I-864, EAD, G325A, I-693. did i miss anything?

yeah you're right. Even my 19-year old son is a good driver, he failed his actual driving. Right now it's very difficult to make an appointment. Wala pa cya sched. Meron kse cyang critical error kaya ayun, bagsak he he. I recieved my driver's license yesterday and I was sooo happy kse i'm free to go anywhere yehey! I can drive my car now. thank you Lord!

it's been a while.. my husband and I have difficulty on filing taxes jointly. We got married last March 2008 and I came here in the US using my K3 visa and we are on the stage of filing my AOS. We went to H & R block ( to do our taxes) and they advice my spouse to file single and just ammend it next year since we can't file jointly, it is because i am just here in the US for a month and filing jointly , a non resident alien spouse should atleast here in the US atleast three months. We need to submit our taxes this april but up to now we can't start anything. Is anyone here in Visa Journey could help us out? If my spouse file single, will it affect my AOS and be question by USCIS?

Please help us out if there is any ways we can file jointly that can't affect my AOS.

Do you already have an ITIN? If so, you can already file taxes jointly. Otherwise he can't inlcude you in his tax exemptions.Also I don't think it will affect your AOS as it is a change from a visa to a green card. But do ask around in the other forum topics.

Hi Jose Rizal! Salamat sa mga tips huh, malaking bagay yun! You are really a hero he he. Though I had 12 errors, 3 errors na lang failed na ko, thank God I passed my actual driving test! Hindi ko nga maintindihan mga scores ko. Can you explain it to me, ano ba yung mga naka encricle? Pati yung mga letters X, B etc, and what are those critical errors? nakakalito talaga! Anyway, good Luck to all who will undergo their ADT at DMV.

ToddnCezy, usually minimum of one month interval ang vaccines. So you might be due to have your 2nd dose already.

Ewan ko ba, sa pinas galing ko magdrive, i'm driving for 20 yrs now, tpos dito sa states para akong first timer. even the written nakakanerbyos eh how much more sa actual, whaaa, napaka strict pa naman mga examiner sa stockton. tip naman dyan sa mga natapos na ng actual, pleeeaasee!

Tips.

1) Magpractice drive ka sa Stockton DMV para makabisa mo ang rota. Kung may intructor ka, pasama ka.

2) Always lingon pagliliko kahit change lane lang. Look at rear view mirror then side rear view mirror then lingon (yung todo lingon) tapos liko. Marami ang nadadali dito.

3) Pag-aatras tingin sa likod at huwag sa salamin. Kahit sanay ka pa. Babagsak ka kaagad diyan.

4) Pwede ka mag-right turn pag stop pero dapat stop ka for 3-4 seconds tapos konting usod sa harap. Tapos pagclear na kanan. Abante kaagad. Dami nadadali din dito. At huwag ka lumampas sa linya.

5) Magpractice ka sa unprotected left. Ito yung walang left signal light. Green light lang ang meron. Sanayin mo umabante kapag green pero diretso pa rin ang gulong. Bagsak ka kaagad kung mali ka dito.

6) Sanayin mo sarili mo sa right of way sa 4 or 3 way stop.

7) Wag ka lumampas sa speed limit at huwag mabagal masyado. Bagsak ka kaagad din dito.

You are allowed 15 minor mistakes pero isang mali lang sa major ay bagsak ka na. Good luck sa iyo at sa sino pa man mag-eexam pa.

natatakot kasi ako magpractice driving dito kasi wala naman ako sa insurance ng asawa ko. ayaw naman ako bigyan ng learner's permit kasi may international license na ako. gusto ng dmv, license na talaga ang i-apply ko. sige, practice practice na lang ako.

try mo maglagay ng vicks vapor rub sa talampakan ng anak mo before going to sleep then suotan mo ng socks. it works para maka-sleep mabuti.

may dala ako na mga gamot ng anak ko kaya wala kami problema sa gamot.

E ano pa magagawa ng beauty ko e kailangan daw ma kumpleto ko na shots... I paid $220 for the vaccines plus the $25 so total of $245. Yung sa son ko, $50 ang siningil sa amin pero buti na lang di pa sya kailangan mag vaccine kasi age inappropriate. Madugo mga sisters and brother (that's you kuya manny)!!! Anyway, sana matapos na to. I got the forms I-693 in a few minutes lang kaya thankful naman ako. My papers are good to go na tomorrow...send ko na sya...hay! natapos din. Problem ko na lang yung social security ko. I think napa aga yata kuha ko ng ssn. I applied kasi on the 10th day after I arrived. Ayun, wala pa rin hanggang ngayon and I was told it can take up to a month kasi they need to verify from Department of Homeland Security. Yun lang update ng buhay ko. How's everyone???

As of now, caregiver muna ako sa stepdad ko which ok naman kse he provides everyhting we need and he even bought a car for me! God is really good all the time. My daughter goes to school cloe to our house and my eldest will join in an Air Force sana makapasa cya. Ikaw san ka dito sa states?

buti pa kayo maam minang, 1 mistake lang! talagang nag prepare yata kayo. musta po driving lesons nyo? im currently enrolled in a driving school din, ayaw ko na sana kaso my mom insisted. namamahalan kasi ako sa bayad. hehe! 200 bucks for 6 hours of lesson lang. eh tagal ko na ngddrive sa pinas! so far ok naman, its all worth the money din! kasi iba talaga rules dito. dami narin ako natutunan! sa thursday siguro ako take ng actual driving test! sana mabait yung dmv officer! hehe

Hi prettymommy! I'm glad you're here now, san ba yang maryland? It's only now that i've post here kse i'm so busy taking care of my stepdad, ako caregiver nya muna while waiting for a job buti na lang may sideline he he. You know padgating ko dito after two weeks na recieve ko na green card ko and my SS, then I took the written driving test and thank God I passed, 1 MISTAKE , right now i'm into driving lesson kse klangan kong malaman mga rules dito esp sa mga freeways, after that may actual pa, pag nai pass mo yan, you have to buy a car he he, may babayaran ka pang insurance, dami gastos buti na lang my mom is very supportive. Nakapasok na din anak ko sa school, it's a public school pro and ganda, they provide free lunch and snack, yung panganay ko, mag uS air force cya. anyway, how's joserizal, jamesnRei, grace, and everyone, sorry sa mga nakalimutan ko. Hindi ko na nasubaybayaban kung sino na naka recieve ng visa. To all who's still waiting a visa, don't give up, God is good all the time! Yes..so u have something to read on the plane..and the neck pillow or small pillow is ok to bring..I will bring 1 too for my daughter on our flight..
