Nothing much to report here either. I'm waiting on my green card approval which should be any day now. I have my AP (but recently found out it's useless anyway) and my EAD has been approved, just waiting for that to show.

If his last name was stripes... or caine... or land... or capped? (The last one is a slight stretch, but just imagine that you got married and it made you candy capped? You'd have to explain to everyone you meet that you were candy capped in a horrible marriage accident...). My wife's name is cherry so there is a lot of room for funny names there too (but my last name isn't tree... really... it's pretty hard to come up with a good way to mock my last name... down side is names with 8 or more letters mock you every time you have to write them).

Hey, I was wondering what will happen if I don't get my K-1 in time for the wedding date we have planned?? Is there any way for me to move to the US and get married without the K-1??? Can I just change the process from K-1 to K-3 (I believe it's a K-3) I am trying to do the whole application thing without a lawyer but early in the process I did call one immigration lawyer who said that what I'm describing here is indeed possible but she didn't say how... she wanted me to retain her services at a fee of $3500 CDN and I figured that was a waste of money....

Grats on your visa candy, I'm so glad your almost over all this ######. Chris and I are still waiting for an noa2 which is a load of fun, we have all but given up on this to be honest and have been pawing through Australian immigration information. We were meant to find out about our visa on Friday, but nothing has come through the mail in DC ( we have a mate checking for it whilst we are at the sea) and turns out our lawyer is in germeny till Friday so no news there either, and since 12 months into this we still don't have a tracking number for our case there is nothing we can do.....

Tis all so fun....

My fiance still has not gotten his visa yet...been on AP since May.

dont worry im sure it is the same as us we had to go thru 2 only advice is ask every 1-2 weeks of the status even if they keep saying same thing. but im sure it wont be long

its like when they asked him to bring in his passport we thought yes this is it but instead they gave another hold. they said it would be weeks if not months several times so its like i didnt understand why they wanted his pasport and why they wasnt sending it back ( we didnt ask for it back of course) so dhl called and said they have his passport so he was like ok is anything with it and they said they wasnt sure what was with it so it was like omg this is it yes or no.. so he called me cause he said he couldnt hardly type at all. im thinking we are for sure going to get an attorney onit for his adjustment cause this was allot of stress so somone else can deal with it. the sad part is i think hes going to wait till around the 1st of october to come because he promised his mom to visit for EID but im ok just glad its over.. anyone hear if there has been pproblems on waiting like that to come. somone told me that he should arrive within 30 days

sorry i havent been around but its been too depressing trying to play this waiting game. ahmed got an email saying to bring in his passport so he can get his visa. he took it in 2 days ago so we are hoping we have it soon ( the letter acts like he can still be denied but i dont think they would ask for it then deny it)

im back... had to take some time away to try and not think too much about all this administative processing bs... well we still dont know anything and hes still saying its not possible for me to come there so at this point im just ready to give up cause the pain is so bad its making me numb. i think i've waited a year and theres nothing much else that can be done.... has everyone else got thiers?

I got a pet ( puppy) shinese ( Half pekinese / half Shi tzu) to keep me company while my fiance is at work. I have been working lately on the wedding favors and wedding menu. I love the time i have for myself without having to worry about work like at home. I try to keep myself busy sometimes with playing pool, working out ( gym) , reading and sometimes checking on wedding stuff online.

I miss the nice weather , cant wait till spring is here officially and its all warm

i asked him what exactly ddid she talk about cause that gives us an idea what theyre looking into and he said they asked about the cosponser living in a diffrent state and if i have my own house or live with somone which of course i have my own house. maybe theyre looking at it as a badd thing but before they told us we only need somone in the u.s.

just to update about our case. he took in the new papers and now theyre saying its under administrative processing. he said the woman didnt smile the whole time. so i dont know but i wish they would stop giving excuses and let us know a stright answer but doesnt seem like they will. anyone ever hear of this happening?
