  3. Hi Vanessa, well been married 12 days now loving it, am starting today to get together our AOS your thread has been invaluable, however i have one stupid question - i did a G-325A for K1 submission do i have to do this again but in my married name or maiden name? Also do i show american address from arrival to present date or just reprint the original form dated 03/03/2009? Cheers Kaye

  4. Vanessa finally got the duplicate NOA in the mail Saturday, we are putting the package together for AOS, EAD, AND AP did u go to a civil surgeon or just submit your vacination record? My medical was done in march this year, and my doctor signed the form after he gave me my flu shot, as i had to wait for the vaccine to arrive as the US approved Dr didnt have any at the time of my medicalcheers Kaye

  5. My vacinations were complete, apart from my seasonal flu shot, which my local GP gave me as soon as they came in and signed & stamped my vacination report the US approved doctor that did my medical in Brisbane gave me for just that purpose, closest Civil Surgeon to me is over and hour away in Knoxville what a pain this will be

  6. Hey Vanessa,

AOS Interview was a breeze down in Memphis, our Immigration Officer had a great sense of humour, got my Greencard in the mail on the 5th so now a break for about 17 months until we apply to lift the conditions YAY thank you so much for all your help, its been a big help to me and many others HUGGSS xxx

  9. Hi guys, u can pay the $150 immigrant visa at Australia Post, just be sure to tell them the correct visa type when u go in, my local post office had a sheet with the visa bar codes on it and it was done and dusted in 5 mins good luck

  10. Have been so busy settling into life without paperwork, have been to Honolulu on 2 weeks holidays, people say I would be bored, but i don't have the time to be bored, always something to be done or do..

  11. Hi Lyndal, got a msg u left a comment but cant work it out lol, arrived in the USA, took us a week to get over jet lag, ordered a new car and now have to submit for a Social Security Number, then get the wedding invitations out as we are to marry July 31st... its been all go, but today i slept in and am sitting here in my shorty jammies im not doing anything today im buggered lol.. Cheers Kaye

  12. When we sent in our readiness for interview form it was the first week in march, our interview was not scheduled until the end of April, some 7 weeks later, we didnt book our flights until we knew i had the K-1, we got a great deal through V Australia, however i did buy a return ticket, with the return booked for six months after arrival and will just call a few days before and advise im not flyin

  13. Interview was for 11am we arrived at the Embassy at 10.15am,took a number then handed over my passport DO NOT SEND IT BY MAIL TO THEM hand it over at interview. We saw a gal after waiting 10 mins, she took the forms we were requested to bring, my passport, took my finger prints and then we had to wait another 15 mins for interview which only took about 15 mins we were granted my visa

  14. keep running out of characters lol, we were leaving the embassy by 11am, so were only there about 45-50 minutes all up

  15. by the way I didnt book my flight until after the interview as it costs $250 each time you want to change the dates, there were no special one way flights when i booked mine so i booked a return flight for six months later, and will just advise im not flying a week before or extend it for another six months

  16. Hi, i took my passport with me to the interview didnt trust sending it, they kept it after interview so they could put my visa in it and sent it back in the overnight 3kg post pack i had to take in. We stayed at the Sofitel Wentworth was expensive and wouldnt recommend it, wish wed known about the Travelodge.. getting final details for wedding done here only 2 weeks to go now yeeeeeehaw..

  17. Thanks for the add, hope your journey is going smoothly, take it easy cheers Kaye

  25. Still checking for any movement on our file, only NOA1 back in april after submission shows case still pending, the USCIS website just shows Dec 30th 2008 for processing times, so i guess as at the end of July they were only up to apps recd by end of December last year? lordy its going to be a long wait i reckon, hope all is well and enjoy summer hugs xoxo
