Wow we submit 3 months prior to expiry and u still have nothing back? What if you have to leave the country you have no current green card That is just nerve racking

Oh great getting worse and worse, we only booked a six week visit back to Aussie as i wanted to be back in plenty of time for biometrics and any interviews they may call for sigh

Have a great visit. will be getting my ROC together this month as we are heading back to Aussie Nov 13th for 6 weeks and will leave ROC package with Momma-in-Law to post early December for me Can't wait to get my choppers around a good ole Meat Pie and hoe into a kilo of prawns lol

Hi Vanessa, wow time sure does go fast if you have filed for you ROC.. I have that lil Gem coming up at the end of the year. We are heading back to Aussie For Xmas and New Year so will have to get the package all ready and leave with Mother In Law to post just before Christmas. Do you have any check lists for ROC AS YET?

Hi Vanessa, just popping in to check my timeline for ROC submission, i know its due until early next year but we are going home for Christmas and New Year, am taking an extra suitcase to bring back goodies LOL Hope all is well with ya'll xx

I would miss Applebees, the cost of living here in East Tennessee is at least half of what it was back home on the Gold Coast, some things are similar. I definately miss my Thai food, no good Thai restaurants around here [ i live in a rural area of Tn ] one thing i dont miss is the dam traffic on the Gold Coast and the Tourists thats for sure

Thanks Vanessa, so great to have AOS, EAD AND AP all approved done and dusted, and 21 months with no paperwork lol going to SS to change my SS into married name today YaY and have no work lifted then im done for 12 months lol

Congrats, we had my AOS interview in Memphis March 24th, approved without any hitch, got my greencard just last week woohoo

Congrats, glad you didnt have to attend an interview, we did but it all went well and Greencard received 5th April Woohoo

My card was issued 10th feb 2011 valid through 9th feb 2012 so only for one year also, wonder whats to the go with that?

PS. cant get a drivers licence either, the gal at the local DMV said i had to wait until i got my AOS, as of right now i have no status she said im in Limbo.. go figure!

I know how you feel, this immigration process is so dam slow, we submitted AOS, EAD AND AP back last October,didnt get biometrics appt until December, AP came too late to go see my Dad, but oh well, im keeping busy going out to lunch once a week with my mother in law, Farmville on Facebook, general house work plus i go out and about in my new car learning the roads and just checking things out, hubby has been great and feels so badly that the immigration stuff is taking so long, after we got ...

Did mine back in December, was in and out in about 15-20 minutes, now have to drive all the way down to Memphis [11-12 hour drive] for interview for my AOS, so we are going to make a road trip of it and go visit my gfriend in Arkansas for a few days at the same time, will be moving into our new house just beforehand so is going to be an exhausting time for both of us..

Just got my EAD card, am so busy with getting our new doublewide, endless paperwork for USCIS and just enjoying life, thankfully as i sold my house i dont have to worry about working but may get a part time job later this year after Mum's visit but have already done some volunteer work at the church's local office for a couple of days

Hi Kathy, I am in the same position got my AP AND EAD but they have requested an interview re my AOS we have gone to Charlotte NC twice for biometrics and info pass interview re RFE's, but now they want us to go to Memphis, clear over the other side of the state for my AOS Interview, what have they asked u to bring? Hi Vanessa, AOS still in the pipeline, interview in Memphis March 24th, but EAD approved and card in hand.. from AOS interview request im thinking they have lost my paperwork as they want copies of everything all over again, im so tired of this BS.. hope all is well with yall xxx

I know what you mean about the waiting Kathy, we submitted AOS last October, and its still going interview in Memphis re AOS March 24th im so over all this bs its maddening to say the least

Hi guys, i have my own car so have been busy looking at Clayton Display homes, we ordered a new double wide last week so is all go here, just getting over a bad dose of the flu, sorry ive not posted in ages but have had so much to do plus my stuff finally arrived from australia couple of weeks ago, have a barn full of two pallets of boxes but not unpacking the rest until our new house is set up

Hi guys, did my biometrics last December, had RFE on my AOS, been to infopass to sort that out, got my EAD this week but now have interview re AOS major bummer

Oh ####### you mean we have to study for the US Drivers Licence too ugh might get hubby to take me down to the DMV and see what the regs are in Tennessee!
