    Hi guys. I'm having a great time with my fiancee, but it's cold here in Northeastern China. We're planning to take a trip to Thailand together in a few weeks to warm up. :D

    I know alot of you guys are busy with the paperwork but hows everyone's wedding plans going??

    Our wedding is still at least five months away, so I'm not too worried about it. Besides, we want a small, informal wedding anyway. It's not the ceremony that's important, it's spending our lives together. :)

    Thanks everyone. Maybe it also helped that my birthday is tomorrow. Hopefully my Leilei will be able to join me in the US by August or September, but for now we can just enjoy our time together. She's making breakfast for me as I type this. :)

    Congrats Jeremy&SioTo! It feels good, doesn't it? Don't worry Jenn and Nick, you'll get yours soon.

    Bad news everyone. I'm out of the race. I got two emails, one this morning (last night, China time) that said my petition was transfered (to where?) and a few hours later, another that said it was approved. I was asleep, so I just got them a few minutes ago. Good luck to those of you still in the race.

    OMG OMG OMG. WE ARE APRPOVED. :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

    I just received e-mail from CRIS that today 3/25 they sent the aproval. The status in USCIS is updated too. I am soooooooooooooooooo HAPPY. I cried, laughed, jumped. It is such a great feeling. I can't believe its finaly happening. I was just txting with Erik and the new e-mail poped up. I called him and we both cried and laughed. OMG.

    Thank you all for the support. You were amazing. Good luck to everyone still waiting. Kevin&Leilei, Jen&Nick and all the others I KNOW you are next. Maybe even today.

    And of course the article says it makes the baby's skin white. What is it with this 'white' obsession in Asia?! :huh:

    It's funny, isn't it? White Americans spend money (tanning beds, sitting out on the beach, fake tanning lotions) to make their skin tone approximately the same as East Asians. East Asians spend money (umbrellas when in the sun, lotions to make their skin whiter) to try to make their skin tone as light as white Americans.

    I was once riding a bus with my fiancee in China, when a woman commented quite loudly that she wished her skin was as white as mine.

    RE the article, I don't think it's gross or weird at all, and I think it's great she wants to donate her excess milk.

    You can count us in on the race. We sent in our application and received our NOA1 on the same days as you, maybe we'll be approved the same day too. We are still waiting for our NOA2 and the anticipation keeps building. Maybe being added to the race will be good luck!

    Ellie and David congrats to your NOA2! Looks like that did work out great for you, being with your sweetheart and receiving big news! I´m happy for you! Well we received our RFE last monday and it was really just about question nr. 2 part C, we got it done and sent it right back in! On sunday Michael is coming to see me for a week, he is off from college and right in time uscis had a nice surprise for us:

    WE GOT APPROVED MARCH 19!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I used to write my sevens like this for a while, but everyone complained that it looked like a cursive F, so I stopped. My cursive F's look nothing like that. My email address has a zero in it, so when I write it down to give to someone, I always slash the zero, just to distinguish it from an O. My ones are usually a single line, except when they're in a place where they might be confused for a lowercase L or a capital I, then I'll add the little hook and serif at the bottom. My capital I's are usually a single line, unless they're standing alone (as in the word "I"), then I'll add the serifs.

    Thanks for the invite!!!!!! I feel I may be the winner....we did file pretty late. Sheeeeeeeeeeesh, now I think about it, i'll probably be the last left on the dang thread!

    I'm leaving for the states at some ridiculous time in the morning on Saturday, but I trust kevin will be an excellent referee and ensure no one is calling up USCIS and begging for their NOA 2's to be delayed, just so they can beat me!

    I WILL BE VICTORIOUS!! ;)

    We just got touched again and finally our case says after a couple touches that a RFE is on it´s way to us :-( does anybody know what´s the difference between furter and initial evidence??? thank you guys for any response
