Just make sure you include the required info for any affidavit and have them state that you are living with them to save money and that you help out with bills. Why make up a fake 'rental' agreement last minute? The truth is the truth, go with that.

Means green-card holders living overseas, when living in the USA you do not need fingerprint card or passport pic when filing I-751. The Biometrics appointment takes case of this.

I received our first NOA after filing the I-751. There is a note:

"Conditional resident applicants, including conditional resident dependents residing overseas pursuant to military or gov. orders WILL NOT RECEIVE an ASC appointment notice. To complete Bio. processing, these applicants must submit the required items listed on the I-751 form instructions."

Does this mean all conditional residents, period... or just ones who live overseas and their dependents? If the letter had more commas maybe I'd understand it differently. I just want to make sure I understand. Please tell me what you think it means.

Today my husband had his medical and they told him he has to come back Tuesday for the results. As I've read through these, I thought that most people found out same day what the results were. Is this happening in other countries too?

The Embassy called my husband to tell him about rescheduling. He called them back to make sure they gave him the same information and to ask why. Since your embassy might be more difficult to get a hold of, I would go there to confirm it just for peace of mind. I believe the later date you received is probably the right one.

Hope u all r doing fine... I am feeling really stressed out with this visa process.

I was so happy with my interview date which was on April 20th, as u all know that from my signature, we (me and my hubby) got interview letter through email from NVC. Later on, he also received a interview letter issued on March18th and received it couple of days back which was from US Embassy Dhaka. All was goin fine.

However, today my husband got another letter saying that my interview is scheduled for 27th???!!!!!!!! I mean what the hell is going on here??!!! My husband immidiately called to NVC, and they said, as per their system it is on 20th....They have no record. Then, they asked my husband to call DoS (I guess, not sure where, but it is in Washington) and gave him the number. But unfortunately, he could not talk today cuz it was already 6 o clock in the evenning.

So, what is going on here? I never heard any mess like this so far. My husband already got his ticket done, and we are in real mess.

Please guys... What should I do now?

This happened to me as well. We had one date, then my husband received a phone call saying it was rescheduled. He called back and they said they made a mistake, the embassy is closed on the original date. I would just find a way to get confirmation, but having a letter with the second date should be enough to show them on that date.

My husband has his interview on April 30. I won't be attending the interview, but I have been assembling what I have saved here to prove our relationship, we intend for him to take:

-letters I have sent and package receipts from my packages to him

-the wedding album with over 300 pictures of us, our friends and my family from the wedding ceremonies and reception

I plan to send

-receipts from sending letters and packages from 2007-2009

-boarding ticket stubs from the trips

-police registration tickets from both trips

-one sheet showing the calling cards I have purchased from a website

Should we include..

-Wedding Dvd

-the stack of phonecards I have used outside the website ones

-my diary of my trip the first year we met

-emails & chat logs of which there are so many in lots of different places. Ive used several computers so all yahoo logs are scattered.

-printouts of digital photographs in addition to the above mentioned.

My husband got a call from someone at the embassy telling him his interview was rescheduled for 2 days later than it was supposed to be. Will they give him a new paper with the new date? Our previous one says April 28 and now they've made it April 30. Will he run into any problems? Has anyone had this happen?

Does the NVC schedule the interview before they forward the package to the embassy or will they forward it and then schedule the interview?

I had called on the 19th to check if they recieved my case and they said it has been recieved and they will forward the case to the Embassy of Macedonia within the next 5-7 bussiness days. I just called to check the status and the automated system said they have no record of my case. Does this mean they have already forwarded it?

In my opinion, that's probably just that the operator already knew it was received and that the system had not been updated yet. Check it again soon and it should be updated. If that still says it, check again with the operator. Also make sure you are entering the right keys on the automated system for your kind of visa.

I sent the AOS and IV package on the 18th and it was entered in the system on the 19th. Does anyone know how long it will take for them to complete the case?

My case was just completed on the 20th, the NVC updated the system to say they received it the 17th and I know they got it on the 13th. So I think about a week after they get it.

From my understanding it is against their policy to give it to you. They wouldn't give it to me. The shortcuts say it is very difficult to get. So you will probably have to wait for it. Usually takes 3-4 days to get it.

I wouldn't worry too much. I don't think it changes the overall time much, if any.

I have been trying to call NVC for the last couple of hours, but now I keep getting a message that says all operators are busy, if you do not wish to use the automated system, please call back later. What is this about???

It'd be nice if it meant they were updating it. I dunno, I'm sure it's probably some kind of maintenance. I got that before too, and after a few hours it was ok.

Do any of you know when they update the AVR system? I read Tuesdays, then I read Tuesdays & Thursdays, now I'm wondering if anyone knows with more certainty.. The few times I have noticed an update I had called and called all day with nothing, then the next day found that it had changed, do they update at midnight or something?

I just express mailed my RFE response to NVC. I know they signed for it Friday before noon. The AVR system hasn't been updated yet to reflect them receiving it, but I assume my next update should be case complete. Assuming the case is completed the beginning of this coming week, is there a chance we could still get a March interview date? I don't think Skopje's embassy in Macedonia is that busy. I am ok with an April date, but I would like to know your opinion on my chances for a March date?

Cover letter indicating what was in the packet

2 passport type photos with name, case number and DOB in pencil

DS230 both parts filled out second part not signed

Marriage Certificate

Birth Certificate

Bio page of passport

Police Clearance

(no divorces, no court record so those are omitted)

It is pretty much impossible to guess why they are sending you an RFE. On Monday you can call and speak with an operator and they should be able to tell you what is missing or omitted.

You sent original Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate (ie: you got these from the government office that issues certified copies)?

You sent a full birth certificate that has names of both parents on it?

You filled in every line on the DS-230 for dates etc? For where you have lived you entered 'to present' in the 'from' field in the current residence field?

Police certificates from every place the beneficiary has lived for 6 months or more since the age of 16?

CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THE IIN FOR THE AOS FEE BILL AND THE IIN FOR THE IV BILL ARE THE SAME. I ACTUALLY PAID THEM BOTH ONLINE BUT I DIDN'T CHECK IF THIS IIN ARE FOR BOTH ONLINE PAYMENTS- AOS AND IV.

I PAID BOTH AND HAVE A COPY OF RECEIPTS... I GOT EXCITED GETTING ALL MY STUFF TOGETHER AND DID NOT WAIT FOR THE IV BILL FROM THE MAIL...

Yes, the IIN for both bills should be the same, so you should be fine.

we sent the DS-3032 by email on 31th Jan (for my son's visa) , but we have not got the auto respond, dont know if the NVC get it or not? do we need to try it again? how long will it take to get auto respond and how long will it take for them to put the choice of agent in the system?

The NVC will probably accept the email and enter it about a week after you emailed it. You should be fine.

I was just wondering what is a reasonable "guesstimate" of how long it should be before I receive the case complete automated message after the receipt of DS 230 message... and also, how long between case complete and receiving notice of an interview date?

I know people call NVC all the time, but they DO send the information via regular snail mail, correct?

One last thing, do they send interview/medical info to both of us, or just one of us?
