    omg yes it is, ok so do we receive another letter from NVC?

    We haven't received one yet but I do think they send it eventually. I'm going to call them Monday night and see what's up.

    ok good because it written on the NOA2 that we will receive a letter from them but when i called on friday they said that they wont send it so i got confused, but i think the lady was just wrong or confused,

    anyway, we will see what happens this week wow im excited

    so it seems theres no packet 3, and i called the NVC again, they said it was sent off this morning with dhl which gets there in 2 business days,

    OH wow the process actually feels real now!

    Navid im happy for you. and i must add you are right it does seem so real after you get the NOA2 well after the shock wears off that is :lol: well best of luck for the rest of your journey. :smile:

    Yes i have. im glad because im due to fly out on the 15th

    Hi,

    I have applied for my fiance on 25-Nov and I receive NO1 on 2-Dec and I'm just waiting for NO2, I filed with VSC and my Fiance is in Iran, so as there is no US Embasy in Iran for on I-129F form for embassy I wrote Turkey, Ankara, (Which is normal is out case)

    Now my question is, after Embassy receive the complete package from NVC how long does it take for them to process and how many days notice do they give us to go to the Embasy for Interview and Medical test?

    another question is how long is the Visa valid for?

    our petition was sent to the embassy today, i dont know when we will be informed of the interview date but maybe soon?

    You will get it...probably by middle of next week.

    Okay now you can call the NVC next week and see if hey have your case.

    actually i called them today and they said they had my case today , and it was sent off to the embassy. . .

    what happens next???

    Next the embassy sends him packet 3...he fills it out and returns it. Each country can be a little different....so you might want to check for your specific country on what happens. Go to the Embassy Info tabs and look it up.

    ok so packet 3 must be filled out before the interview date is issued?

    and we have an attorney so its probably going to be sent to him

    Hey EVERYbody i was approved on monday. . .

    no hard copy yet tho

    Yayyyyyy! I'm so happy for you!!!! Guess what? I'm in England now and my sister texted me today that I got an approval letter! I ran and woke up Paul and told him! I can not BELIEVE it!! Thank you Jesus!!!! She said it says approved 2/26/09. So i guess I got approved but didn't get an email me, and my status still says pending and no touches. I havent seen the letter tho.

    Navid... you were right, we got our approvals the same time!

    I can't wait for everyone else to get approved! I'm sorry that this system is so unfair. I honestly think my congress inquiry worked, but i have no idea why it took so long. Well at least I got to tell him in person. I will update my status now.

    CONGRATSSSSSSSSSS YESSS I TOLD YOU OMG IT WAS TRUE!!!!!!!!

    My question now is, if i was approved on the 2nd , when will i receive the actual noa2 in the mail? i live in california so its the same state as far as postage goes, but i checked the mail today and there was still nothing

    any ideas anyone????

    OK SOME STRANGE NEWS GUYS

    I DONT KNOW IF ITS TRUE AS I AM VERY CONFUSED,

    MY ATTOrney went to the appointment today and he claims that they told him my petition was approved YESTERDAY!

    and he says he had the immigration officer write on the paper that we were approved, also he says we will both receive the NOA2 in the mail in the next couple days.

    BUT i checked the status online and it only shows a touch on the 27th of FEb. and shows the petition as RECEIVED AND PENDING.

    i also called the automated service and inputted my case number and on that service it also said that my petition is pending.

    I have also NOT received any email saying that it was approved. . .

    SO NOW IM CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    OMG AM I approved? Will I receive the NOA2? I guess I just have to wait a couple more days and check the mail. But in the mean time the wait is killing me!!!

    Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas on this???

    ok i havnt gotten anymore touches and i dont know whats going to happen but my attorney has an infopass today we will see what happens. . .

    no way noa2 i dont believe ill get it soon. . . .

    2 touches on 2 different days is a good sign. It's what happened to me when I got my noa2. I think the first is the approval date and the second is the day they send your case to the NVC. :)

    are you serious ?? omg that would be amazing, but it still says recieved and pending, and its friday today, the letter would go to my attorneys office which opens 10am on monday,

    i got the second touch at 9 am today, if i called the NVC would they have my case by now if it was sent today?
