My husbands visa was approved as well. He said the interview was really easy and they did not ask him many questions either. They were very nice at the consulate.

My husband had his interview today and passed it as well They only asked him like three simple questions and one of them was how did you meet, since we knew each other since we were children it was easy for him to answer. He will go pick up the visa later today.

I received the letter today.

Before my case was completed I would call the NVC all the time to get updates on the case. I hated the AVR, it takes forever to update, I never relied on it. I would talk to a live operated. Good luck with your case.

I called NVC and they have scheduled an interview for March 11th. I am so excited. :)

We got an interview for March 18, 2009

It seems like no interviews were scheduled today. Hopefully we hear something tomorrow.

I called NVC and they told me to call back on Friday as they are scheduling until Friday.

Hey Everyone who has their case completed and awaiting an interview.

We have a big week coming up. I hope and pray that everyone who's in the same situation as us gets what they wish for, the interview date that lets them move on to the next stage.

I just called NVC and they told me that " YOUR CASE IS COMPLETE" ...............PLEASE DON"T SEND ANY DOCUMENTS....

I am not sure if these guys as NVC also know what exactly they want.......

ALL SAID DONE I AM SO HAPPY THAT I MIGHT GET A MARCH INTERVIEW...............

And if you want to send w2...just write a letter with it stating that you don't have all the docs to file the tax return and to consider only the W2

I just called NVC and when i pressed to talk to an operator, it said NVC is closed. Isn't the operator usually work until midnight? Or is it a holiday or something? Anyone got the same thing?

Mommy,,,I just called NVC and I got the same thing, the NVC is closed. Maybe they closed the phone lines for a little while becuase they are getting too many phone calls. I would try again later. I do not see why they would be closed as I am not aware of any holiday.

Another piece of advice of advice, call and talk to a live operator at the NVC do not rely on the AVR. The AVR is at least one day behind, whereas the operater can tell you the actual live status of the case.

My best advice to everyone as you are entering the NVC journey is to have all of your documents NVC requires ready. You and your documents should be waiting for NVC, not NVC to receive them.

I had my husband sing and send to me well in advance the DS-3032. I mailed in the hard copy as soon as it was generated express mail/overnight in addition to the email i sent. The hard copy was processed 5 days before the emial.

I also had my husband sign and send to me well in advance the DS-230, birth, and meriage certificate. Police certificate was the only one I waited as I wanted to make sure it was closer to the USCIS approval date.

As soon as the AOS and IV fee bill showed "PAID" I jumped to the post office and sent it express mail/overnight.

I recomend rending all your documents express/overnigh mail, I used the USPS, that way you will not run the risk of loosing them or delay the process.

Wait....so "Mommy" I can send in the I-864 package now that I have printed off the cover sheet & it shows as paid online?!?!?! I thought I had to wait for it to be generated!!!

Please let me know! I will send it out tomorrow if I can!

You can send out I-864 package as soon as it shows "PAID"

The same thing for DS-230. As soon as it says "PAID" you can send it out as well.
