Hi,
I am going to be travelling to my home country with my baby who will be a USC without my husband who is a USC too. I am on a CR1. Do I need my husband's authorization to leave the country with his child? Is there like an official paper to show? Of course, my husband knows and is OK but I just want to make sure that I am not gonna have trouble leaving the country, as if I was stealing his child.
Thanks for your responses in advance.

Has he been violent with you?

anybody can answer this question???? Now I wonder: Biometrics walk-in in Raleigh Durham?
-
Thanks to both of you. Nice advice. So reassured. I think I am going to send it soon and reschedule if the bio appointment does not fit me. Thanks again.

OK, here is again a date question since my husband works abroad and I need to file for ROC. Can we sign the form now (he is in the USA) and send it in 2 weeks (when he is abroad). Would that be a problem for them to receive forms that have been signed 2 or 3 weeks before? (as long as both dates are in the window)
My reason for not sending it now is that I don't want to go to the bio appointment alone when my husband is abroad since it is REALLY far...

Thanks Jeremy. I would think that if I need to refile, this could be done after the due date as long as I have tried to file the first time on time. Would a RFE mean that I would be too late? That's scary...

Thank you guys. I am going to download everything and get to work.

Oh my god, I never thought that those 2 years would go by so fast. This is amazing!
So I need to remove conditions on my green card. I know that I need to do it in a 90 days window before the 2 year anniversary. However, for personal reasons (my husband being abroad), I can't do it early in the 90 day periods. Can I do it in the last 20 days? Is it risky? Are the 90 days for the day of posting or for the day USCIS need to have received it?
Thanks in advance. I have been using this website so much while getting my green card the first time, and I am happy to be back.

If I were you, I would just leave it in there.
It is better to take too many things than not enough

Another idea that was suggested to me is to print every first of the month, or every first five days of the months over the years. That's a good sample that looks objective.

No worries. As long as it is not active, you are fine.

Also, at Bank of America, they should let you have a conditional credit card. You give them a certain amount of money that they keep in exchange for you to have a credit card. It lasts a year and helps you build credit record. It's a good idea for your future.

The police records are for any country except for the US. I am almost sure. I have lived in the US before applying and did not need US police record.

I confirm. No problem.

The question you raised about the window is so right. When i went to my interview in Paris, I had 2 binders. But I only stayed on the other side of the window. And they never asked for proof. But I would have had to fold it to make it go by the little hole.
My lawyer had advised to classify everyhting with a photocopy: the original on one side, the photocopy on the other.

When i got my CR1 visa, my lawyer made me promise to never use the VWP anymore because it would make them so suspicious. So i would advise to use it on your first trip. Then, you can leave, as long as you stay most of the year in the USA
Good luck

If I were you, I would not include originals since they say you shouldn't. The reason why they do that is because you're supposed to bring them at the embassy level. You will need your authentic document at that stage. So keep them preciously. Good luck.

You don't have to mention it. it is perfectly normal to be having a hard tiem given our difficult situation. And it is not a big deal. take care of yourself.

Hep B is not tested at the medical I believe. You can see the forms of the medical on this webstie at "example forms". Good luck.
-
Yes, you can have all vacinnes done on the spot. Yet, call prior you medical because some places don't have the vaccines there, and you need to buy them and bring them (it was the case where I took mine, though I did not have to bring any).

Don't worry. I am sure it's gonna be fine. The important thing is to show up at the interview. The wonderful thing is that once you are at the interview, your file is open and he can probably send it the day aftr or something. Don't worry. The important thing is to get there. No worries for the medical. I am sure it will be fine. Relax.

As I just come back from my interview, I have the impression now (and I know that it is easy to say now) that these are details. I have been going with my husband's name for almost a year now, and my convocation for the interview was with my maiden's name. At the interview, they asked me which name I used to issue my visa. Just do as she wants, that's it. It's no big deal (again, I say it because I am done; there is no criticism from me; I understand your stress). Good luck for all.

As for me, my objective is to kill time with a lot of work. It is very motivating to make a lot of money to save for when we are together. Taht's about it. My only objectives are work and money (which is not at all like me in normal time; I am not a materialistic person at all. I just find it motivating to kill time with hard work in prevision for unemployment when I quit my job).

(1) when they ask for the "applicants" documents, are they are refering soley to her? such as;
Birth Certificate
Court and Prison Records
Deportation Documentation
Marriage Certificate
Marriage Termination Documentation
Military Records
Petitioner Documents
Photocopy of Valid Passport Biographic Data Page
Police Certificate(s)
Yes, only hers.
(2) when they ask for "originals" as well as photocopies, i presume that these two seperate batch of docs are grouped or stapled together, one being labled as "originals" and then are sent off together. sound correct?
For this, I don't know.
(3) so then, they dont require any informational documents about me at this point? (as far as "petitioner documents" as listed in question 1, the examples they describe dont pertain to my wifes situation)
Nope, it's all about her now.
(4) at the bottom of the coversheets i printout from the gov. site it states "cr-1" does this mean that we are on the correct path for my wife to receive the 10 year green card soon after her arrival? how much work will this require if in fact the case?
The 10 year green card is if you have been married for over 2 years. Otherwise, you only get a 2 year green card
again, thank you so much. i hope that in some way, my otherwise "simple" questions might also help others like me.

Thank you very much for all your responses. I will definitely get a notarized letter. It really seems to be the way to go.
And sorry for not having updated my signature. Now it should be done.
Thanks again to all of you, and I will take any other advice on traveling with kids.
