And the shocked silence from all October and November filers was deafening until the atmosphere was broken by the sounds of an explosion, as Miss Jess, as forewarned, did actually spontaneously combust.
but if missjess explodes I wont have a reason for being here anymore

Holiday at Disney = Double time. Other than that i can't help.

November filers have been plagued with Holidays. Tomorrow is another . While the rest of the country (US) goes to work, our loyal government servants will be off tomorrow sipping coffee and scratching themselves. President's day. Another day down the toilet.
Holiday... what's a holiday? I work at Disney.

Well it's Valentines day and we all are in the same boat, for most of us our loves are far away but all the same we have someone to love and they love us back. Some day the wait will be over and that will be a happy day but until then I urge all of us to remain positive and thankful for the things we have. So come on we need everyone to think positive thoughts like peter pan: clap your hands and say "I BELIEVE IN THE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION SERVICE!! I BELIEVE IN THE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION SERVICE!!
Happy Valentines Day everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I take it that it is not worth checking the USCIS site on a weekend as they dont work it.
Best to check Friday evening and then Monday evening.
I have seen activity on a Saturday but never on a Sunday.

Will you update these approvals/RFE's on the spreadsheet?
Congrats on your NOA2 and I hope your right... it's jut that bit of sunshine we could use
-
A friend of mine is writing a bit of code for me to automatically pull the info off of the website and show approval stats and stuff all I would need to run it is a access to a php server can anyone help out?
-
2 Minor children are wholly dependent
Even when you can not claim them on taxes and do not have custody?
-
Okay so I tried to search for this and couldn't find it which means one of 2 things either I am the only person confused by this document or my searching skills are flawed and I didn't find it.
1) Under section 1 I do not fill out anything for a-e? (I am a born American citizen)
2) Under section 8 I pay child support for my daughter. Would I check Partially Dependent?
3) Under section 10 Do I list my fiancee that I am filing this document for or does that not count?
4) Under section 11 I intend to support my fiancee and I intend to marry her... how do I quantify that on this document?
-
I just want to say this site has been a great help for me while I put my I-129F together. As of today I sent my package and hope that it goes smooth sailing with no delays. Wish us luck. Thank you again everyone for all the help you have posted on this site. I've learned alot and will continue to use this site along the rest of our process. So for now I'll just have to wait and hope nothing comes back wrong. Thank you again
Congrats and good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Thanks for asking that... I was wondering if I would be able to stand in line with my fiancee but hadn't asked the question yet
-
Thanks for all the great input guys!!!!!!
-
I129-f is sent... how can my love and I pass the time without going completely nuts? Just looking for some advice from others. Any suggestions?
-
Here We Go! The package has arrived now to the next step... waiting "patiently" for the check to get cashed... any fun ideas on how to pass the time?
-
Well the official process has started!!!!!!!!!!! We sent in the I129-F today!!!!!!!!
-
For us, it was important to be both legally and ceremonially married at the same time WITH all of our families and friends around us.
That is exactly what we are trying to do. Thanks for some great advice.
-
Thanks for all the great input guys, sometimes it's just nice to know that others have gone threw and succeeded! Thanks again! I'll keep you posted.

All right guys I am just throwing this out there for some advice. My fiancé and I are trying to plan a wedding and the immigration stuff all at the same time. Either of which is hard all on it’s on but they are both so intertwined that it’s impossible to separate the 2. Any advice for this overwhelmed couple?
-
Thanks for all the advice
All right I just wanted to get something clarified on my question. After the K1 is granted but before you use the K1 are you able to travel to work on wedding plans and things like that? Thanks again for all of your help!

Thanks for all the advice

Hello all, my fiance and are are planning starting the filing process for a K1 in the near future but I have 2 travel questions I was hoping you could help me figure out.
A little background first and then I'll get to the questions. I am from the US and she is from and currently living in the UK. We have been lucky enough to be able to travel to see each other during our courtship quite a few times. My first question is once we file the I129 will she still be able to travel to the US? The 2nd question is once the K1 is granted and we are married will we be able to have a honeymoon outside of the united states?

but if missjess explodes... I don't think going threw the hassle of getting a Visa for a vaporized fiancee would really do me much good.
