Like promised I am letting you know that I received my Oath Ceremony lettre today.

It is on august 27th at 805am (blah) at the LACC

See you there

You have to bring your permanent resident card to the oath to give it off at the ceremony.

Once the oath is over, you will be issued a naturalization certificate as proof of of your new U.S. citizenship. This naturalization certificate replaces the permanent resident card that you would have given off. You will need to show the naturalization certificate to apply for the passport as well as to update your Social Security.

For passport you will need Naturalization paper that you just received ( sign it) form that they gave you on interview, picture and check.

To update SSN you need to wait for naturalization paper to be mailed back to you and I think nothing else.

Went on the USCIS website today to check and here it was

(41 days after interview)

On July 28, 2014, we scheduled you for your oath ceremony and sent a notice providing the date, time, and location. If you move prior to the scheduled ceremony, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Congratulations, after passed interview date 2 days my status have changed to "oat scheduling que", I hope the ceremony will be next month I have to apply US passport for travel plans. Cross fingers.

So this morning was my interview and it went perfectly fine.

I Waited around 10mn then got called in an office. The lady asked me to swear to tell the truth during the interview and then began to gather all of my documents (Green Card, Driver Licence and Passport).

She the asked me a bunch of questions for which I had to answer "yes" or "no".

She asked me to read one sentence:

--> How many senators are in the senate?

She then asked me to write:

--> There are one hundred Senators in the Senate

Then she asked me civic questions:

--> What is the name of the US national anthem?

--> How old a citizen has to be to vote for the presidential election?

--> Why is there 13 stripes on the US flag?

--> What is the ocean on the West coast of the USA?

--> What is the rule of law

That was it. But then her computer crashed and she told me that she would fix it after I leave. My status didn't change online, it is still on May 12 we sent you a letter for your interview blabla... For the people who already got their interview, did your online status changed just after it?

Hey there. I just received my letter for the interview. So It will be on june 20th at 10am.

I have a question. When they ask to bring several documents that I already put with my application, should I ask for new original birth certificate, marriage certificate etc... to bring to the interview?

Hello, today I received a yellow letter titled "This is not an interview notice".

They ask me to bring documents to the interview:

--> State-issued driver's license

-- > Past 3 years income taxes

--> Proof of termination of all previous marriages

For the 2 first ones ok but for the 3rd one, I sent all of those documents with my N400, I don't have a 100 copies and I am pretty sur that I sent the last ones to them.

What should I do, is everybody receiving this yellow letter previous to the interview notice?

On May 12, 2014, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was scheduled for interview.

Hello everyone, I sent my N-400 on march 5th. I received the Notice of Action a week after. My online case status says that on March 12th they sent me my biometrics appointment so I might receive it today. Unfortunatly, I am gonna have to postpone it because I am going to France for 3 weeks... We will see what is the appointment date.
