Arrived home from a week-long vacation to see that I've FINALLY been approved for my 10-year green card!
The date of decision was 12/20/2012, and since I've had my mail held by USPS until Monday, it's entirely possible that my new card will be in there. Here's hoping...
I honestly didn't think I'd be this excited, but after waiting almost a full year, this has finally been approved!
Incidentally, my case status still hasn't been updated on the USCIS website.
Thanks to all of you who have offered suggestions and words of support. Next stop...citizenship!

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site. I received the approval notice on 8/27, but I still haven't received my card! Does anyone know why there would be such a long delay? I can't check my status online because my case is not in the online system. I called the customer service today and waited for more than 30 minutes until 8pm... Please advice, thank you!!!
Have you tried calling them again today? I really hope you got an answer already.
I don't think I ever called them without having to hold 30min to an hour. It takes patience for sure, but you need to call persistently because there is no reason for such long delay if you have received your approval letter. Your card may have been mailed to the wrong address, lost in mail, or mistakenly never sent out.

Still several of us in the same boat, sadly.
Don't worry too much -- so long as you're with your spouse, all is well. I'll start getting concerned if I don't hear anything by December, as that will have been a year. As it stands now, I'm just waiting patiently. Getting a tiny bit more anxious lately, I'll admit, but not by much.

I know RFE itself sounds so discouraging, but really if that is the only thing they ask you to submit and YOU ALREADY HAVE A COPY YOU DIDN"T BLACK OUT then you're fine!. They said specifically you submitted redacted tax forms, and since you already have another "unedited" copy run to the post office and mail it to them! No need to order a new copy from IRS.
Sounds like this will be an easy fix! Good luck to you!

Uskacem kao padobranac ovdje samo da ohrabrim i kazem da smo muz i ja isto tako totalno smetnuli da prijavimo promjenu adrese, i nije nam napravilo nikakve probleme. Jednu adresu prijavili u zadnji cas online, sljedecu naknadno pismenim putem, i niko nam nikad nije ni spomenuo sto smo ili sto nismo
Naravno, prilozite potrebne informacije za tu drugu adresu, ali samo zelim da kazem da ne trebate imati nocne more oko toga kao sto sam ja imala. U zdravlje!
