Hello to everyone! We have been on VJ for a couple of weeks now, have been getting to know folks and have learned soo much from soo many! I'm from NY, hubby from Tunisia (he's there now - had awesome conversation with him & all the family tonight! sweetest people I've ever known). We met online (NEVER SAY NEVER!), met in person 4 months afterwards, have been married for 4 months & last saw eachother 4 months ago. Planning on going back in next few months. We're praying this journey moves quickly & painlessly as we r ready to start forever NOW! Nice to meet u all!

we haven't waited nearly as long as most have for a response. Its only been just over a month for us but no word from anyone on the NOA2 for our K3. Our I130 was filed in June - no updates on that either... someone said patience is a virtue ...

Morning all on MENA - am new to VJ but check this forum often & u all have so much to share! I am definitely one of those wifes who promises herself everyday - I WILL NOT CHECK STATUS REPORTS & then cave in every chance i get. No change in our case yet (check profile for dates, my mind is numb with so many figures & dates to remember) - miss my husband beyond belief & just want to touch him. My hands are cramped from constant texting, the webacm really does me no justice and my phone bill is out of control!

The fact that they posted the dates on time maybe a good sign. Let's see what's coming. I am hoping that September be the most joyful month for all of us in terms of approvals.

My husband checked the site this afternoon and was very excited to see the dates move forward - especially since it was SOOOOOO disappointing to see the timeline move from Jan 17, 2008 BACKWARDS to January 1, 2008!

We're very pleased to see some progress toward us being together ....!!!!

Monday Sept 15th will be 90 days exactly since my husband & I received a receipt notice for our I -130 (June '08 filers), USCIS lists our case as received & pending. I'm getting a little nervous that I haven't heard anything else - is this a normal to not hear anything for long periods of time?

Additionally, any K3 filers for Tunisia - how is it going & where are u in the process?

Our case is at the Vermont Service Center, I'm American, hubby is Tunisian & I -129 filed a month ago ... any ideas/answers are appreciated!

Before I bombard VJ'ers with lots of questions, PLEASE let me FIRST tell you ... it has been an absolute pleasure accidently finding this website!

We joined just a few days ago & so far I have burned dinner & missed a few dog trips getting the dog out for a bathroom run because I have on the edge of my seat in suspense, holding my gut with laughter and reading through blurred teary eyes at SOO MANY couples journeys of love, marriage and children! Thank you all for opening a window for us in your lifes!

SECOND: Naturally like any "newbie" (i would actually prefer the term "rookie" - makes me sound hot!) I have questions:

1. What does it mean to be "touched" when petitioners refer to their petitions & how would I track this touching?

2. Has anyone had any experiences - positive, negative, on hold - with filing K3 for Tunisia in 2008?

My husband & I are still pulling together our profile but we invite anyone at anytime to share experiences, knowledge, wisdom, guidance, resources or just connect - we love to talk so you will get a reply!
