I called NVC and finally got the case #, and they told me to wait for an email for more information on the process..

How long I will wait for thier email?

RIGHT! Im so mad that is the reason they gave! I think they were thinking she will working in US as illegal.

What does being a strong lady have to do with anything?

The thing is they never look the documents she has, like Bank Statements or property.

Are you sure they didn't say her evidence was not strong enough?

My mom had interviewed yesterday for Tourist Visa in US Manila Embassy but they denied her and the reason why they denied her, it is because she is strong.. I cannot believed it, she has all the documents and they never look at it and becuase she travel in different country before and has business small business, they will denied her because she is STRONG LADY!

When I had the interview last Aug. 18, they said I must used my middle name when I was single but, because when I file the I-485 I used my maiden name, which it is natural tradition from philippines. Now, they want me to use the middle name when i was a single. I'm so worried because all my papers now, driver's license, passport is already in my maiden name. They said I will petition to change name if I want to use my maiden name.. Of course I want to use that because they know me in that name.. What kind of form I'm going to use for changing name? I hope you can help me.. Thank you..

Hello, we`ve our 11am AOS Interview in USCIS Detroit earlier . We were interviewed by a lady officer named Anita, the interview took just 15 minutes and it is just a casual interview. My husband and I, were together. We were asked this following questions:

*Where did we meet?

*When and where we got married?

*My husband was asked about my parents name, he happened to forgot my father`s name, he just said he can`t remember it because my father died when I was 6 yrs.old, so I answer it for him.

*She also asked where and when I used my AP ,and when did I arrived here in US, I told her the reason that my mom passed away so I need to go home and she felt sorry about what happened.

* Lady Officer asked me all the questions from I-485 page 3, which is just easy!

For the documents and evidences we just showed our wedding photos,and handed our joint bank account, copy of my health insurance as beneficiary, showed my gov`t issued ID like my State ID, SSN, then he took my AP and my EAD she told me that I won`t be using it anymore because I will be having my GC from mail 2 weeks from now.

About my sealed envelop(my vaccinations that I completed here), she didn`t asked for that but I told her I have that vaccination from civil surgeon and didn`t bother getting it. After awhile she said"Congratulations" she printed a paper and let us signed on it stating that my AOS was approved and I can get my green card by mail. I requested her if I can have stamped on my passport but she told me that they will be processing my card soon, she explained that 2 weeks ago they are stamping the passport but now they are not allowing it because they will be mailing the cards in 2 weeks time.

The officer was nice to us, after that interview she explained to us that we have to file Removing of Condition 90 days before 2 the years of expiration of GC. She gave us the half of the paper we signed for the Removing of Condition, then we just talk few things not about the Immigration Status, after the short talk the lady officer accompanied us going out the hallway, then greeted us again have a nice day and we greeted her back. It was a light warming interview.

Thank you ,Lord and my VJ family, we appreciate all your help throughout our K-1 process. Now, we can relax for 2 years from our Immigration process. Thanks again and have a nice day!

On July 1, 2009, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow the instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made....

Congratulations!!! That is GOOD! You have been transferred to the California Service Center which means that you most likely won't have to attend an interview and your AOS will be approved "just" like that. When you look at the spreadsheet you will see that the first transferred filers already received their Greencard without interview or at least received a "card production"-email.

Thank you, Chibby! I hoped it could be that, but I wasn't sure. As I can see, most people were transfered to CSC before they got EAD and AP...That confused me. I also got RFE, then the case was transfered to NBC... it seemed complicated and I was expecting the interview notice , so this really surprised me today! I was like - What the hell is now?! But I hope it's gonna be exactly in the way you said! Thanks a lot!

hello IVA... what is the reason why u had the RFE??? because we had also RFE, until now we keep waiting if they will send us an interview date... i hope they will transfer too...
