    hello everybody

    we are in ap sice january and we got a call 3 days ago from american embassy in cairo ask to send the passport to the embassy and we did next day

    but now after checking it looks like they ask all ppl to send the passport everybody without any exception even ppl who just have thier interview few days ago

    so i think they just do this to make ppl stop bother them and call them

    i feel so sad to say that but it looks its the real

    Its Monday !!!!!!!!!

    thanks hot guy it was really nice from u to do this

    i had my interview with a guy in window 15

    he was nice

    everthing was ok and very good

    but in the end he gave me my passport back and told me we will call u in 3 weeks or month because we had to do administrative process then u send us yr passport when we call u

    whtffffff

    i guess they will do with us like thos othe cpls we will wait years

    donu wht to do really so depressed

    what the heck..

    So we spoke to an immigration lawyer today, and he confused me! He knows Im coming from Canada, so I qualify for the Visa Waiver Program. He told us that if we were to decide to marry while in the states, I wouldnt have to come back to Canada, and he can file on our behalf to have me stay there for good. I let him know I use the VWP, I dont get B2's, and he said you don't need a B2, that I can come in under the VWP.

    How on Earth can he do that?

    I told him everything Ive read, Ive read other-wise, and he just said "trust me.. it can be done"/

    I wonder whats up with that?!

    believe me it's better to do it without lawyer

    our lawyer coast us 1700$ and he didn't do anything except take our money

    he dotn even answer our calls

    Need recomendation for a good attorny

    Hi, I posted my story about a week ago. If somebody has a good recomendation for an attorny that would be helpful. I would like somebody who has had experience with the Ho Chi Minh Consulars as far as after a denied K1 helping doing another K1 and getting it approved. My attorny has gotten a K3 approved after they have denied the K1 but I cannot leave my job for 45 days as he suggested because my job would fire me and in this economy I couldn't find another decent job to bring her over. Or if anybody knows an attorny that could help me get married in 2 weeks by doing the paperwork over here first and sending my fiencee the power of attorny.

    I have talked to 4 attornys that have gotten the K1 approved after it was denied but nobody that has experince doing it in Ho Chi Minh. I think somebody that has the expeince would give me the best chance. I have emailed Marcus but he referred me to Mr Nam and in the email he didn't give me a way to contact mr Nam.

    i got my packet 3 and i don with it and want to send it to the embasyy

    should i send any original papers in it or just photo copies?

    A'salaamu Alaikum,

    You may send copies of your passport, (only pages that have something on them... do not copy all of the blank pages) your birth certificate, and military service record. You must send an ORIGINAL of your police report, and the ORIGINAL medical report must be sealed inside an envelope, DO NOT OPEN IT.

    May I suggest that you try to find some evident of the immunizations you have had and take it with you to the doctor and ask him to record on your report, my husband says this MIGHT be on your birth certificate. While it is not required for you to have them at the time of the examination you will save a lot of money by having them before you come here.

    When you go to your interview insha'allah you will need to take the ORIGINALS of all the papers that you sent them COPIES of in case they want to see the originals. Do not worry about having anything translated, they have plenty of arabic speaking (Egyptian) employees.

    In CASE you've been married before, you need your divorce papers also. Your fiancee will need to send you her portion of the #3 Packet, but I'm sure she can figure that part out and when you receive it from her just put it in with your papers and send it all together.

    Be sure to send the correct amount of money $130.00 (you'll be sending a receipt from the bank (International Commercial) showing that you gave them the money). The papers they sent my husband said $100, it was wrong, it's $130.

    I posted this in MENA but had received many PM's about how funny the videos were so I thought I would share with all. The first video is a pretty catchy tune with some funny lyrics. The other two videos, there is one that made me laugh about Egyptian Mom's and throwing just about anything at you when they are mad...however, I think this fits Mom's in just about every culture! So many of us can relate! :lol:

    we wasn't expect it that soon but we got today our packet 3

    some stuff bother me

    first the expir date on the forms "I-134, DS-156k,DS-156,DS-157" was in 2007 and 2004 is it normal

    this forms was send byt the embassy in cairo is it ok or trick to delay us?

    can we istead of send I-134 form wich hav to fill in us can be print the sam from internet and send in egypt !! it will save time

    about the person in us bank account how much amount of money should have to send to the embass?!!!!

    plz can any one help!!!!?

    Don't worry about the expiry dates, a lot of the forms are like that. And yes, as far as i know, you can fill in the forms online and print them - just check through first that therre are no differences in the forms.

    I don't uderstand what you are asking about the money... you want to know how much the visa will cost or how much you need to show you have for the I-134??

    Well i think there is no problem about the forms you still can use them .

    i don't think that you can do that with the I-134 form cause it should be notarized so i think they want to see the original .

    are you talking about the visa fee the 131 dollars ? if so you will not send that to the embassy . you will go to the CIB bank and pay that there

    the i-134 for that embassy send to me it's like photo copy paper

    and i found form exactly like it no even 1 letter different also dates and everything

    so it will be faster if my fiacee print it and fill it and send it to me

    that's very very strange

    we got our approval letter "hard copy in mail" from USCIS at 15 Nov

    and till now on the website we still pending whtf is that?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i don't care about the sit if we have hard copy in our mail say we approved and case sent to the embassy

    our NOA1 was 23 june 2008

    so for all ppl who mad on this fucken sit dont be made you will get your approv soon
