Does anyone know the email address(es) that USCIS uses to send out case status updates? I.e., the "From:" field on their emails? I want to make sure my spam filter doesn't block it.
Searching through the forums a bit, it seems there are these two:
USCIS-SRMT@dhs.gov
USCIS-CSSO@dhs.gov
Can anyone confirm these? And are there any others?
Thanks.

Still no NOA2 for us.

As someone who filed at CSC in November, and received the NOA1 in February, I am extremely frustrated by this.
And, while I don't want to offend anyone, it is really aggravating to hear people who have just applied complaining about the wait.

Yeah, you're not going to get much calling the customer service line right -- they're saying the processing timeline is Jan 15 even though the site hasn't been updated in more than a month. As I mentioned, I was told by someone on the customer service line that these things can take more a year for the NOA2 - which is a little drastic I hope...
I did contact my Senator's office (McCain in AZ) and they seemed really helpful and willing to find out about my case. Taking the advice of others on this forum, I would suggest the same. It can't hurt our cause.
Good luck.
Ok, thanks. Since you mentioned McCain, I assume I should contact my U.S. Senator? I thought I had read somewhere else about contacting my state senator.
Have you called them? Maybe you are in security check??Btw, what does it mean exactly to "be in security check"?
Thanks.

I called the 800 number, and they said they cannot look into yet, because it is not past the processing date yet. The website says the "current" processing date is January 17, but that is 1.5 months old. But the guy I talked to said they can't look into it until they update the processing times.

Okay. I'm going to do that tomorrow first thing. Thanks for your feedback.
I got my NOA1 in February at CSC and am still waiting for NOA2.

I can tell you what it will be....
February 14, 2008
Right, but since it doesn't actually _say_ that yet, I can't actually call about my case being outside the processing times...
-
That's probably why they're not posting them. You can't call about being outside of processing times, if they dont post them.
haha, that thought had occurred to me...

Well, Not sure how you "Poked". There is no option to speak to a "live" person. (although if you ask me most of them are half dead anyway)
please share your secret "poking" technique. The number is completely worthless. Typical Gov. snafu.
I'm not sure exactly what I did. I navigated the menus for a while, and stumbled upon something that let me talk to a live person. I agree it was not very obvious on how to achieve that.
Does anyone know what they will do to investigate the situation if/when my case is officially beyond the processing timeframe?

PGP what is your timeline if you dont mind me asking
My NOA1 was early February.

I called the 800 number the other day. You have to poke around through the menu a bit, but you can eventually talk to a human. The guy I talked to was very nice, but as mentioned above, he just said my case is not past the posted times. (Which it would be if they would just post their August update!)
-
Does anyone know why we haven't had an August 15 update of the Processing Dates? They're still from July 15, and I can't call about my case being outside of the timeframe until they post this month's Processing Dates...
-
Just wanted to add that our NOA1 date is early February, and we are still waiting as well, so as others have mentioned, you're not alone.
As a side note, our application was received at the end of November, 2007, and we didn't get our NOA1 until February 2008. After looking at other people's timelines, that seems way too long. Anyone know why that would be?

Ok, they bumped up the processing times to February 1 on the website. Hopefully our time is coming soon.
