Hello all!! I havent been here in a while since my ex fiance decided he did not want to continue our relationship. That happened on october08 and he broke my heart. I sent a withdrawal petition on december and heard from them that I was approved (feb 17th) not big news since we arent together anymore. I called them yesterday to find out where the letter was, apparently they didnt received so she told me to send one again..

what else can I do???

Write a letter to the USCIS service center asking to "withdraw" your petition.

F2B Is for Unmarried Sons and Daughters (21 years of age or older).

Perhaps Son or Daughter got married?

the proble is the petitio was for unmarried childre and he wants to bring married children. When he filed it he was a LPR now he is a citizen.

no idea but is for F2b category, I think it may be I-130

What happened when the petition is returned from NVC to USCIS??? This is not for me but for a friend who is getting this petition. Thanks

what does it mean?

Have they cashed your check? if so, in the back of it there is an EAC # which you can use to check your status online.

I have read lots of situations where people did not get their NOA1...

Hope you get yours soon

If you see under your username, RAZAN, there is a link called MY TIMELINE, click it and filled with your NOA1, NOA2 if you have one...so people here can give you a better answer

We applied for our K-1 in january, 2007. We had our interview in June 07, were approved, and just got approved for the two year conditional green card this month here in Portland, OR.

My husband grew up in a very poor section of Lima and did not have any schooling past high school, except a few months of english classes before we left peru. We had no problems because of any of that. They did't ask for any documentation regarding education. Provided you have a genuine, loving relationship, you should have no problem getting your K-1 approved at the Lima Embassy.

Do read the K-1 guides, as other members have indicated. That will help you so much in getting the paperwork together. good luck!

I just sent it on friday...they received it today according to USPS...check has not been cashed yet
