  1. We are in White Bluff, Dickson County.. think it's 3 hours ride away... been meaning to meet some Pinays from TN, also here on VJ... hit me up... we may go to Chattanooga to see the aquarium there my husband is talking about...

Goodie!!! you can PM me when you're visiting the aquarium, maybe we can meet..:dance:

  2. They should be put in jail they are breaking the LAW by circumventing immigration federal laws. The act of being in the U.S. with false, no documentation or thru non legal channels is ILLEGAL. It is not fair to the rest of us who have spent, time, money, absence of loved ones who have done everything legally to have a president or congress hand over citizenship to someone who broke the law. Those of us waiting for K-1 visas, conditional resident cards, permanant resident cards, citizenship naturalization after years of worry, waiting, money for someone to tell us we can or cannot be together and have someone cross a border, tax our system, and put this country in danger and nothing was ever GIVEN to us is that fairer than asking for identification from someone when they get pulled over for breaking the law YET ONCE AGAIN.

    Nuff Said,

    Me

    Very True!!!!

  3. from the USCIS website:

"You met each other, in person, at least once within 2 years of filing your petition. "

You can just present the pyastubs that he got months before he got laid off together with all the tax documents..

    Good Luck!!

You can also present bank accounts of your fiance.

  5. If he is searching only online then have him call the airlines instead and ask for this. They will be able to help better than just searching online.... They will probably charge 10$ for doing it over phone

it's probably $15 if you do it over the phone, how about trying a travel agent to book it.. could cost you less than booking the flight online..

  6. The only name that is important is hers. There have been several members here that had incorrect information in the annotation information regarding the sponsor. It will not cause a problem with the airlines and it will not cause a problem with SSA. SSA does not verify your spouses name to issue a SSN.

To get an SSN aren't you supppose to show your marriage certificate and visa/passport to them?? that' s what we did.. and I got my SSN a week after.

  7. Wow, seriously? The parents need to pay for the extensive Military and Law Enforcement response, at our expense. That should liquidate their tv earnings/potential and rightly so...

Appears the whole thing was a scam. Towards the end of Wolf Blitzer's interview with the boy (who names their kid "Falcon" anyway??), the boy was asked why he didn't come out when he heard his parents calling for him. He replied, "You guys said (referring to his parents), 'We did it for the show'."

The thing is they already announce that they will not gonna get billed, they spend the whole day chasing after a balloon for nothing.

  8. For my AOS interview on Oct 13, one of the requirements is to submit the medical exam report I-693 (as well as other docs I have submitted with the AOS package..) However, in my submitted package I only submitted the DS-3025 from the Phils in place of the I-693. Do I need to get an I-693 now just for the interview???

You don't need the I-693 since our medical from the Philippines is valid for 12 mos. However, if you didn't include the I-693a, which is the supplement, you may want to have it handy on your interview day since they might ask for it.

if they even have an interview. some have been approved for aos without the i-693a, but they'll have to wait and see if they get a rfe for it. if they do have an interview, i agree they should have the i-693a ready just in case.

I believe the interview is about to take place on Oct. 13 :innocent:

You need to have that I-163, meaning you need to go to the civil surgeon and the doctor will give you a sealed envelop to be submitted during your interview.

Don't forget to have the papers from the local health center as the doctor will have to include it in that sealed envelop.

Actually, that sealed envelope consists of the transcribed vaccination records -- the one from St. Lukes and if you had some done here in the US... And it is not called I-963... it is I-963a, which is the supplemental page to I-693. Like I said, since our medical that we did at St. Lukes is valid for 12 mos., the I-693 is not needed, just the I-693a.

If you read her timeline, she had done a sputum test in a health center here, so the health center give her a sputum test result and that has to be shown to civil surgeon and be included on that sealed envelop.
