  1. Wow, I finally got a touch! My 1st since my NOA1 on June 9.

Oh #######! This isn't a touch, this is approval!!!!

On October 7, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Mail won't show up until this afternoon. Just tried calling the 1-800 number, no one on duty yet.

What now? What am I supposed to do next????

  2. I hate to add fuel to this fire, but I originally sent my 1st I-129f in July '07, apparently at the height of the rush last year due to the hike in fees. I waited 8 months, and never received confirmation. And no, my check was not cashed...

I finally resent my I-129f in April 08, and received my NOA1 in early June.

I'd like nothing more than to exact my revenge on these idiots (of course, only after my NOA2 approval).

  3. OK, über newb here. NOA1 on June 10th, one touch on June 12th, and no touches since. Is this normal?

Going thru the CSC, and by the looks of it, wishing I lived in Vermont. I think its incredibly stupid that the USCIS can't shift resources or manage this any better.

Also, I've heard stories, on two separate occasions now, of K3 couples getting NOA2 approval before me (our packets were sent at the same time), both beneficiaries come from the Philippines and both cases using the CSC.

It was my understanding that K1 visas were "hassle-free" and "faster" in comparison to K3, and yet that doesn't appear to be the case. I'm extremely frustrated and confused...
