    FINALLY!!! Received Green card today! So the conclusion is USPS don't forward government mails. I saw the forwarding address sticker with our new address and at the bottom it says RETURN TO SENDER. Anyways thank GOd I can truly say the AOS part is truly over now.. :dance: Nowtime to update SSn and state id and dl. Good luck to those who are still waiting !! Mellusine hopefully you'll hear fromthem soon and to others who are still waiting for an update :dance:

    Hey,

    I'm finalizing the AOS/EAD/AP paperwork TODAY! yippeeeeeeee --- and have a quick question about how to actually organize it.

    Somewhere it said to 2 hole punch the top and use the metal binder clip for the K-1 paperwork. Do you do the same for the AOS/EAD/AP?

    Also, the I-693 came back from Dr. Arnold's office in a sealed envelope. Do I include it just like that?

    Any other tips appreciated. THANKS!!!

    Do not put any holes or staples on the application...When I sent mine I grouped each application with it's supporting documents and simply paperclipped them together...and yes send in the sealed envelope you received from the Dr. just like that...best wishes :thumbs::innocent:

    Hello fello vjers,

    Happy new year!!! After i received my greencard last december 22, i went to ss office to have my ss changed without the note "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION" luckily i dont have problem changing it. The guy said i have to wait two weeks and they will just mail it.

    To everyone who has still waiting for their greencard especially RICHO, goodluck to you Girl!!! :innocent:

    Well today i received an email stating that my Card is UNDELIVERABLE. As expected i know this would happened. So i called them and update my mailing address again for the 3rd time. ANd they said it will come within 45 days :blush: Will start my work on the 16th of this month. :star: HOping for some good news for everyone :dance::dance::dance:

    Richo, that sucks...I do hope they get it right this time and that you receive it b4 ur new job starts...Is there anyway they can tell you when it will be sent out (redelivered)? I guess not, it is USCIS we're talking about...praying for you either way... :thumbs:

    Hello everyone... First i want to say thank you so much for all the vj family. I received my GC in the mail today after 12 days of interview. Now my question is, "Do i need to change my ssn since it has a note that said: "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION"?

    Any help would be very much appreciated... Merry Christmas to all!!!

    Congrats to those who have received their GC's or Approvals!!!! My hubby is still waiting for his GC...I do hope it comes soon.

    Congrats also richo... mine was also updated december 22 and i received my card the same day. wish you received yours before christmas...

    Yeah you have to update your status with social security office (show them your greencard) then they'll mail you out a new card without that stuff written on it...

    What do you have listed as your "Country of Origin" on your greencard? Mine Had France....ok here's the story...St. Martin IS owned by France and used to be considered a "community" of Guadeloupe until they recently pulled away from Guadeloupe and are now directly "governed by FRANCE, (hence, France listed as country of origin)...is this ok or should i be worried or try to "fix It"?
