  1. I just took the photo using my digital camera (5.1 Mega Pixels) with a white wall background. I printed the photo out in CVS so the photo quality is no problem. I will then cut the photo into 2 x 2.

The only thing is the print I got from CVS is not on a glossy paper, it was on luster paper. There is no mention of what type of paper to use in the photo spec from the website. So I guess luster paper is fine, as long as the photo quality is high, correct?

That is not the website of the USCIS -- refers only to visa and passport photos, not immigration documents. Better to be on the safe side...get them professionally made even at a CVS.

  2. Hi everyone.

I've received my NOA for the adjustement of statut, employment authorization and advanced parole application today.

I got really mad when i have found that one letter of my last name was misspelled!!!:crying:

What shoul i do to get the mistake corrected by USCIS and don't have the mistake show again along the process and on my green card??

thank you for your help

Or, just leave it alone for now...and correct it when you have your biometrics. USCIS can confuse easily.

  3. So, I took my photo for G-325A at home with my ditigal camer, and I printed it out in CVS to be cut into 2x2 size.

One thing I didn't do it to print out the photo in Glossy. Does it matter? I was doing some random reading and saw from a site that the photo need to be printed in Glossy. Is this true? Will there be any problem is my 2x2 photo wasn't printed in Glossy?

    Thanks

I suggest you do as instructed. Some forms don't even allow digital pics!

The immigration folks will not accept digital photos to begin with.

  4. Anyone with experience getting AOS with a 40-yr age difference between husband & wife? Interview upcoming in August....so far, no problem....married Oct. 2007. She was already in US when we met.

I never cease to be amazed at how many ask this question and don't say which partner is older. Age differences in and of themselves are not reasons for denial but they certainly can be considered as part of the totality of circumstances. Culture is also considered. For instance its much more difficult to buy the bona fides of couple where the woman is 40 years older than the man and even more difficult if such a relationship is even more uncommon in the culture of one or more of the parties.

So, if you want meaningful opinions, provide enough information to paint the picture for us.

    The husband (USC) is older.
