  1. When we started all of this, I was hoping that my sweetie would already *be* here by then - at this point I've gotten pretty pessimistic about that happening. Maybe things will start picking up, but I'm not expecting to get to the interview stage until after then. I gave in last night and arranged a trip to see him next month - at that point it will have been 7 months since I have seen him. I was reeeeally hoping he would be coming back with me this time. At least I feel a little less stressed out because get to see him really soon!

Good for you, you'll be able to see your Love soon...

I can't really decide now if I'm going or not. I want to be sure . Hopefully CSC will pick up this month.

  2. Hello Everyone!!

So how's everybody? patiently waiting like me? Well, actually i'm starting to pull all my hair out LOL! just kidding! :P

Anyway, I've seen some of VJ member filed at CSC getting their approvals (still not June filer though) Well atleast it's good to know that CSC is back to work now, Let's keep on praying guys! It's been almost 3-4mos already!!!! :(

    Godbless!!!

  3. Hi all, just letting everybody know I just got an email from USCIS (CSC)about an hour ago saying my I-129F was approved and a letter was sent out today. My NOA1 was May 28th. I have not updated my time line yet, just sharing with all of you that someone is still in the building at CSC. - Dave

Wow. it's a good new for all CSC fillers! atleast we know that they're starting to MOVE.....

Hope we all get our NOA2

    keep Praying :innocent:

  4. NO  ! June CSC filers are seeing NO movement. I am at day 84 since NOA1. There are many with NOA1 dates 6/1-6/8 with nothing yet. There is a serious slowdown at CSC..(no clue why) Now I know that 66 k1's out of 2700+ filed in June at the CSC is very, very, small sampling...BUT....I would assume some movement....I'm depressed and trying to be patient. I was really hoping for August approval....didn't happen.

Same here! we were expecting to be approved in Aug. but didn't happen. :(

Now, hoping for NOA2 this September! geeezz!

what's happening?? we don't know. I'm trying to be patient like you but this waiting game is soOOO frustrating. :crying:

  6. HELLO EVERYONE!

i've been a VJ member since 2007. I'm actually filing for I-129F(K1) that's why I never get the chance to check this forum in regards of petitioning family members.

I actually have question about my sister's case.

We were petition by our grandma in 1991.

    After long wait,,,,

Me, my parents and 5 of my siblings had interview back in SEPT.2004. But since my eldest sister just turn 21 (JULY 2004) that time, they deny her visa. And we are all got approved except her. We migrated here in US in 2005 and my mom submit I-130 (repetition my sister) in Oct. 2005.

    My question is:

    1. How long we have to wait until the NVC contact my sister for visa processing steps?

    2. we have I-797 (NOA) received Oct. 2009 that says the petition has been approved. What does it exactly means? Can we call NVC to ask about the case?

    Thank you so much!

  7. The G-325a needs a official signature by my fiancee on her form but i was wondering if my fiancee can just scan the form and email it to me or does she have to mail the original copy by fed ex? because that would take awhile for me to receive and i wanna send everything to USCIS asap.

It needs original signature. Send the foem and asked him to mail it back to you. That's what I did. you'll never know. =)

  8. Is there anything else besides the I-129F, G-325A and the letter of intents that needs to be signed? Do we need to sign copys of birth certificates, or invoices or the pages with the boarding tickets too?

Don't forget to sign each additional page,ex. if you have part B question 18 in another sheet.

and sign and date your table of contents too (if u have one).

  9. Hello everyone.

I'm having trouble tracking my I-129F packet (certified mail) on USPS website. I sent it last fri 05/28/10. And until now I can't track it and when I call USPS costumer service, they said that the number I have is not on their file. I don't have any idea what's happening. Should I worry? I don't know how USPS process on delivering mail. WHat's the other way to make sure that my packet received? Or just wait for NOA1 for now? pls advice. Thank You.

  10. Your income level is good enough. You need to contact the IRS and order tax transcripts for the past 3 years, collect pay stubs starting now, gather your W-2s, and ask your boss or human resources person for a letter verifying your employment--this letter should be on company letterhead and specify your position, your salary, and when you started working there. You can also get a bank statement showing how long you've had your account and how much you've got. Try to get as many of these things as you can for the I-134, read the instructions for the I-134, and read the guides here. There's a checklist of what you need to put together at this stage.

    Read the guides carefully.

Thank u thank u so much for the info. This is all i need to know. U got it ! I will definitely read more here in VJ. First thing in d morning that's what I do know.

VJ has everything and good thing I found this site before starting our visa journey: )

    cheers!!!!

  11. I started gathering things(original birth certificate, passport photos, passport) right after we sent our I-129F, and I will be gettin the police certificate asap (after NOA2) and then translate everything the embassy asks you to.

So that's the best way to go from my point of view cause I'll only have my medical exam left to get... should take about a week or so.

    Good luck!

Thank you Junita. I will ask my fiance to start prepare things ASAP now.

Do you suggest anything on my part? Like income documents? How do I know if we won't need co-sponsor? Sorry I'm not good in math but if I'm only making 30,000/ year is that good enough? Is could be less since we're losing hours due to recession (not really). nwei please if u cud give me info. Thank I appreciate it so much :innocent:

btw. congrats on your approval
