  1. Is it really true that there is a new rules now at the USEManila? That when the time of your interview your fiancee cannot enter anymore and be your side while your interview going? Oh, i hope not.. coz i want my fiancee to be with me when I have that chance someday soon. Can ANYBODY tell me something about that NEW RULES... thank you and I do appreciate everybody's comment on this...

    GOd bLess!

That is a rule at some of the other US Embassy's already. You may want to check the link below for guidlelines or give them a call before your interview date to verify.

    Best of Luck!

  2. I know it's great that they are.

There must of not been many people from the UK this month, as our case was only complete on the 29th August. So i expected a late October date. I just cant wait to tell my husband, but unfortunately he's at work all day and by the time he gets home, i'm going to be in bed. i hate time difference, it sucks. other than that I'm so happy.

  3. Congratulations!!

Our case got complete on the 29th August and i think we have been assigned an interview date already. Our case has been forwarded to the US embassy in London. I'll let you know when our interview date is, i should find out tomorrow, so maybe you can get some idea of the sheduling for October.

Thanks to all for the kind words!!!

Any information from those of you that are on your way to the medical & interview stage is greatly appreciated! I'm sure that anything that we can share with each other can help!

I think that I may still be in a little shock to even be at this point!! :D Can't wait to finally have both of us in one country on a daily basis!!

  4.:dance::dance: I phoned the NVC automated system today & got the message that we all want to hear...."your case is complete"!!! It's been a long road to this point but I have to believe from here on things will continue to move! Our case should be on it's way to London soon. . I wish the same for all of those that have been waiting so long!
  5. I've still have NOT got an answer. This includes the fuquin idiot from USCIS I just talked to. She was too STOOOPID to even understand my question. Her answer DA COMPOOTER SAYS ME NO DO NUTHIN 4U.

Let me lay this out in kindergarten fashion so my question can be understood. Surely SOMEONE knows.

POINT #1 : IF CASE IS BEYOND 30 DAYS OUTSIDE PROCESSING TIME YOU CAN FILE FOR SERVICE REQUEST

my main question is in reality what that ENTAILS "BEYOND 30 DAYS"

EXHIBIT A: we have hypothetical or REAL in my case date they received the application (let's do an example, say the date is August 10, 2007)

EXHIBIT B: we have USCIS's posted Processing dates For example , and happens to be current date at the most horseshat branch in its system vermont of September 3, 2007. It's listed that date since mid august.

WHEN DOES SAID CASE REACH the 30 day outside mark???

    A) when the Vermont date reaches or exceeds Sept 10, 2007?

    or

    B) when 30 days have passed since the vermont date exceeded the August 10th example?

    or

    (most likely choice)

    C) go die and burn your marriage licence.

work with congressman in your area. Write him/her a letter explaining your situation & frustation. You can find your congressman via www.house.gov via your zip code. It's really worth a shot. Good luck

From what I understand USCIS will not consider your case outside of processing unless...

For example...they are processing 9/11/07 and and your case date is 8/10/07.

I'm pretty sure it's option A. I worked with my Congressmans office for 2 1/2 months before I finally made it out of there.

    I wish you the best!!

  7. I've seen posted here before that the NVC updates the automated information on Tuesday and Saturday. I'm not sure if that is acurate or not. Even when my information was updated it did not report the correct information. If you feel that the information is wrong or you do not receive an update within 10-14 business days call by all means. They will help you the best they can with the information they have. I was told by a NVS rep that the best times to call are between 10:00a.m. -11:30a.m., 6:00p.m. - 6:45p.m., and late evening. My experiances with the reps at the NVC have been very good.

    Best of luck!!

  8. Hello All,

Just wanted to let those of you waiting know that there is still hope!! Just as I was leaving work today I received the approval email from the Vermont Service Center.   We've been waiting since September of 2007 for this. We are so excited and are ready to begin the next step of our journey!   WOO HOO!!!!! I hope that all of you like my husband and I that have been waiting so long hear that positive news soon!!

    Congratulations!!!!

Thank you! I had to share this. It is such a big thing to see. I have been so discouraged by the lack of movement by VSC and hope that this is a sign that things are starting to move along for everyone!

  10. This is my theory. Unfortunately from observing for 7 months I can tell one thing, there are two type of people, people who get lucky and approved early from 1 month to 5 months,(those are people who get hard working agents working on their case)And we have those people who go past 6 months and keep delaying and delay like someone forgot about our cases.

That sounds about right! It is amazing to me that we where told that our case had been moved to an adjudicators desk back on 5/6/08 and we still haven't seen anything. I know that the case load is huge but, how can a file be on someones desk for that period of time?Good luck to you that things start moving for you soon!!

I think they are full of #######, look at the email I got from them from my senator.

    Behold :

In an effort to assist you, I have forwarded your inquiry to the U.S.C.I.S in Vermont. My office has recently received a response from their agency in regards to your case. The I-130 petition was received in their office on 12/13/07. They are presently processing petitions in this category dated 7/30/07.

The office also advised that in order for any petition to be expedited the beneficiary must have a severe medical condition that has to be treated in the U.S. The illness of the beneficiary must be documented with certified letters from doctors and hospitals. Than upon review by the USCIS, a determination would be made.

If you do not hear any response as to the status of your wife’s current petition within 90 business days contact our office.

HAHA not 3 months, 3 months worth of business days, what a ###### spit in the face.

It is totally crazy! All we want is some really good information about our cases and not the run around!

  12. Hi,

Our I-130 was was mailed 9/5/07 with a NOA1 date of 9/10/07. Of course we really didn't received the receipt until December 07. Our case is at the Vermont Service Ctr and we are still waiting! (as I'm sure many others are!!) They asked us for additional evidence back at the end of February which we immediately turned around and they received on 3/4/08. We've had no movement and I see others out there with receipt dates after ours that have moved on via Vermont. (it's great that someone is getting customer service!!) I've contacted my congressman's office and they inquired on the case and made follow up calls. The congressman's office was told that our case was moved to a adjudicators desk back on 5/6/08. Still nothing. The last time the congressman's office called they asked that they not call back for another month. (that will be on 7/6)

Does anyone have any other suggested steps we can take?

I understand and hope that for all of us that something changes soon with this process! I have a hard time just sitting back and doing nothing! I guess I will continue to work through my congressmans office and plan to contact the senators office as well. If it doesn't help me maybe it will assist others!
