It's been a while since i checked in again. anyway, I just want u guys to know our interview went well. It was done here in Los Angeles. The lady who interviewed us was very pleasant ( she's from Nigeria), just went through the forms that we submitted.I actually forgot i have to submit 2 photos but she send me down to 3rd floor to have my pics taken.. Our interview went well... actually it lasted ..hmmm.. 30 mins. That is for my husband and step daugther. She copied some of my pics . then congratulated my husband and stepdaughter. I can't believe this is all over. I still cannot believe how patient i am ( and all of us who are on the same boat!) t go through this. I would like to thank everybody who provided some prayers, support, for all the cheers, and for the company on this long journey. Hopefully, you guys will get your interview appt and eventually c

we are also a january filer... got our letter for interview set for may 12. Anyway, my question to any body who is in the same boat as me... Does the EAD comes as soon as you have the biometrics?? we had the biometrics last march 14 both for ead and Aos. But haven't heard from them since. Do i have to make a call to USCIS??? I notice that some of you got their notice 3 days after the biometrics. hope ours will come soon.. at least the EAD!! anyway, hope you could add me on the jan. list!! good night!

im so happy, just went home from visiting the devoted DIVINE of MERCY SHRINE then on my laptop and checked VJ, i read some good news from some members here who got there visa already, but yet no news for us. i checked delbors still same still in process. decited to checked my hotmail mail got 6 new mail, but i know for sure most of it is from VJ, then i saw this MANILA IV i thought its the travel agency where i left my email add for them to mail me there fares and discount, when i open it, this is what it says...

hi everyone, just to let you know.. my fiance's k1 and k2 was approved as of Nov 6. I spoke to Lorraine last night and she told me visa will be printed and be delivered on either friday or monday ( manila time). The long wait is over. I checked delbros website but it doesn't say anything if it's in transit!! Anyway, I think the CO in window 29 started to pick up the pace!! thanks everybody for the company for these long and torturing wait. hi everyone, just called grace from usem. She told me the CO was done reviewing my fiance's k1 and k2 visa ( which Grace mentioned that is a very good news on my part!). HOWEVER..no visa is issued yet. She encouraged me to call back on Friday manila time ( Thursday night here in LA). There is a POSSIBILITY that the visa might be issued in a couple of days or weeks(?????) . i just hope it's soon!! I think its a good sign that Manila CO are starting to work on our cases. I really hope my fiance and my stepdaughter will be here before Thanksgiving!!! keep up the spirits everyone. Like OBAMA said..Change is coming!! hehehehe !! have a good day!!

I really don't want to put my hopes up high.... but she told told me the visa MIGHT come soon. I really hope so!! Its been a long time. anyway, for those who had been issued their visa...how long did it take for the visa to be issued after being updated by CO??? I just dont want to expect too much anymore!! I'll just do the usual thing...to wait!

Calling the toll numbers will just result to you getting generic answers. It's better to call the Immigration Visa Unit of the US Embassy at +63(2) 301-2000 ext. 5184/5185 and look for Grace or Lorraine. Do note that these lines are for US citizens only.

I've been calling that number since my fiance was interviewed and so far they are the ones that give me generic answers!! at least now, i know that my case was 'touched' and not just collecting dust from the CO's desk! Its really hard to get through Grace and Lorraine's extension. My overseas calls are hurting my pockets now. anyway, ill just sit and wait!!! good luck to us who are still waiting!!!

ive been reading this posts since september. . anyway, my fiance was on window 29. still no visa..he was interviewed sept 30. The papers are in CO desk since oct 6. I've been calling USEM..actually ranting at Grace for the the very slllooooooowwwww process at th embassy. She gave the same lame answer everytime I call so last night,I called again and ask for an update. I went beserk on the phone...she wont give me the name of the consul that my fiance because honestly..i want to talk to that lady. I even told Grace that im paying Taxes so big every year and this is what I got??? slow service. i just had an outburst last night. I can't let her make "taray" to me. I think she's also puzzled why I know some people got their visa who got interviewed later than my fiance. I just didnt mention this forum. I just want to let her know that their reasoning is not aceptable! hay... i'm gonna call again on friday..manila time. anyway, hope we all get the visas soon. I really wish my fiance can see our son on halloween program in school.

i just want to congratulate everyone who have their visas!! anyway, if anyone can enlighten me up regarding medical process for annulled fiance/fiancee here. my fiance has been back and forth in st lukes since monday last week!!!... its been 1 1/2 week since he started the medical.. evrything is fine with my future step daughter however, my fiance's papers are not! they still required him to do some psych testing ( since he had annullment case..that's what they say !!!) He was suppose to have his interview today ( sept 24.. manila time) my question is.. does it really takes forever to have things done??? they have to re-schedule his interview..i really hope they could make it this week!! anyway, thanks in advance. good luck on our journey!!!!!!

i just want to ask everyone who had their medical appt recently... can we do the medical 1 week prior to interview??? is there any hassle of doing it???or i have to spread both dates 2 weeks apart??? would it matter? my fiance paid delbros yesterday. i'm still waiting until sunday to make the interview appt anyway.. they told me to wait coz they just got their hands on our paper last tues (manila time) and they need to do a data entry ! so..im cool with that..give them time to sort our papers out while i'm starting on apartment hunting!! geeezz...it's not so easy these days.. LA apartments is so expensive.. anyway, back to the original topic..hope anyone could share their experience!!! reply is GREATLY apppreciated!! salamat!!

I'm going to the interview It was about a $2100 ####### shoot just in airfare alone, but she's never flown before. It's about 24 hours of solid travel and I don't want her to do it alone. Plus I enjoy getting away from work. I'm not sure if I'll have a job when I return, but I've been waiting for all this to get over so I can start looking again anyway.

I have a question who ever has their case number from NVC... when could i call the US embassy?? i just found out yesterday that thay have my MNL # but the nice lady from NVC told me that they haven't forwarded my case to manila consulate yet!!! I just want to make sure i'm doing the right thing.. or if any of you have any info regarding US embassy in manila.. i would really like some info!!! thanks a lot!!

The embassy already has your electronic info. You can have your fiance pay her doc verification fees now,as long as she has the MNL#. Trust me the sooner you pay, the better off you are. You may not be able to set your interview date until they have the physical docs in hand though. You can trying calling the call center, but I had better luck speaking with a lady named Grace. I have to call the embassy back tonight to see if our docs have been returned from NSO yet. Check out the regional board, you will find alot more specific help there.

I told Gareth our new theme for our wedding will be "When Hell Freezes Over" since that seems to be when they are going to approve us and this whole process will be done heh heh heh!

They have all my info now in Cali I tracked it to make sure it got to CSC and it got signed for there at around 1030 am Cali time......now the wait for the status change....Gareth says he reckons I must watch paint dry to make sure it is drying properly with how much I track everything dealing with this process ha!!!

hi!! I really feel your pain re: the waits.. the touches and then RFE!! I was touched many times..then to find out that I got a RFE on July 22( my fiance's bday)!! anyway, got the snail mail on july 24 (My birthday) and sent my documents same day..had it expressed mail. anyway, I followed up today and of course the guy I spoke to didn't give much info..he just told me to wait for two weeks and call back later next week!! I was touched again today..I dunno if that it because i called or they're doing something on my case!! anyway, at least we know that they are working on our files and one of the Feb filers told me sometimes it would take couple of days then they get their NOA2!! I really hope so.. anyway, i'm really rooting for your NOA2..I hope we all get our NOA2 soon.

ps.... I know you really want to give up that #1 spot on Igors list!

i just have question.... can i start gathering my docs..like tax receipts from IRS ..etc even without NOA2 yet?? I got a RFE email on july 22 and i mailed the docs as soon as i got the snail mail( actually same day i got it). i logged on the USCIS website if they touched me today..i didnt see any changes yet! But the postal servise sent me an email confirming that they delivered my mail! I'm trying to think positive and hope my NOA2 is coming soon. It wouldn't hurt if i start getting the docs isn't it????

ps... ..congratulations to all who got their NOA 2 recently!!! and for us who are still waiting..let's just hang on and keep praying!!! our time is coming soon!!! we are in a better position than sunnybear who's #1 in igors list!! if she could wait this long..we can too!! i hope her NOA2 will come soon!!
