Visa in hand! Just arrived via SMS - before 10am to boot! So no need to pay for extra delivery charges folks - cuz I didn't!!!

Congrats! Chris received his visa today as well and booked his ticket for Monday. Can't believe all this waiting is almost over!

I got there at 7.30, too. What does he look like? I'll see if I can recall seeing him!

He's about 6'4", shaved head, probably was wearing all black with a record bag possibly reading a book.

Mmmmmmm, I have a vague recollection of someone fitting that description - mid 20's?

He's actually in his mid 30's but could pass for someone in their mid to late 20's. Was there a lot of people there?

My husband's visa was approved today as well!

He called me at 7am, my time (12pm his time) to tell me he'd been approved. His said it was so easy! His interview was at 8am. He got there around 7:30am. He waited in line and got a number. They called his number and he gave them the paperwork. Then he waited around some more to be called again for the "interview." She asked him how we met, who chatted up who lol and the longest period of time he's spent in the States. After that, she said he was approved! Easy peasy! I can't believe all this waiting is almost over!

So my husband's interview for his K3 is on Monday and I've been looking all over trying to find out how much he will have to pay for the visa when he is there and also for the courier service. I can't seem to find anything on the embassy web site. He said it wasn't on any of the paperwork he received from the embassy. I'm sure this question has been asked before and its probably in some obvious place that I haven't found but how much is the K3 visa and courier and can he pay by credit card?

We're getting really nervous but excited! How is everyone else doing?

I just wanted to share the news with you all that we got our interview date for October 20th at 8am! Its 2 days after my birthday which will be an amazing birthday gift! I can't believe this will all be over very soon

Congrats on your fiance finally arriving safely! You must be so relieved that part of the process is over with! I'm also in NJ down near New Brunswick. My husband and I just happened to be at Newark yesterday as well flying back from Toronto. Its always nerve-racking going through customs during this process but they let him through just fine.

Ok thanks! How soon can I call them? In a week or so?

So we just sent off Packet 3 on Tuesday and they received it today. Now I'm wondering do we just wait until we get the letter through the mail to find out when our interview date is or can we call and find out? And if so, when is a good time to call? About two weeks after sending it? And who do we call? The embassy or DOS?

We just sent ours yesterday to the address on the cover letter. They don't state anywhere else on the paperwork to send it to. Ugh I hope it gets there okay. We sent it recorded so I can track it. Should be there by tomorrow. I hope this is okay!

Just an update - I got an email saying my packet was signed for and received today. It said it was delivered to the mail room so I guess it got there okay. I guess the address on the cover letter is okay to send to. Like people have stated before, I would just wait another week and then resend.

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to say hello as I've been lurking on this board since we got our I-130 & I-129F approvals. My husband is British and I'm a US citizen. We lived in the UK for about 3 years until we decided we wanted to move to the States. We just received packet 3 yesterday and are getting everything prepared. We're so excited that this process is almost over and will be able to live together as husband and wife again soon.
