i try to get NBI clearance today because i was told that i dont need to send police certificate because i was never out of the country in my whole life and ive been living the same address in my whole life and people told me that i will be good if im sending NBI clearance only but the problem is i try to get it today but my name is on HIT so they have to verify my name in Manila and it will be 10 working days....the last i get NBI clearance no problem at all but was 2004....i am so depressed to wait 10 working days because i am ready to send the Ds230 to the NVC.............. :crying:

I am expecting the DS 230 FORM from my wife in Nigeria, What other documents does she have to send along with the DS 230 to me. The letter I got from NVC did not state anything. They just directed me to a website and the said they are waiting for the DS 230 Pls advice. Also, how long do we have to waiting for Interview. My I -130 PRIORITY DATE IS JULY 09 2007. Hello and God Bless, the DS 230 is the visa application and your wife needs to fill it out. You can find info on that form from the NVC website or the travelstate gov. and also on the forms sections of this website. If my memory is right I think we mailed marraige license, passport photos, background check (my-husband) we sent the original's I was told by NVC that they needed originals or certified copies I got our marriage license certified and they sent the papers back to me because it has to be certified from the place of origin.. so don't make that mistake.

You must send certified copies - the kind you order from the government authority that issues such documents in your country.

Yes, passport is just a photocopy - however remember you also need to send in a photocopy of each of the other documents - as well as the certified copy.

u can email ds3032 once it was generated like i did..but my mistake it was generated long time ago and i just emailed it just this time...tsk tsk tsk

I don't think it matters who the agent is when sending it in. I would just send it! And if you can express mail overnight the better!

I was wondering whether NVC accepts Certified/Notarized copies of originals from INDIA(birth, marriage &police certificates) with DS230.Any had success with submiting notarized copies?

When submitting forms (and supporting documents) - one should always send copies and keep originals in a safe place.

Good idea but NVC requires some certified/originals documents for CR/IR visas.

the visa fee is after the DS-3032. it might not have been entered into the system yet if you checked auto message system. call operator and they can give you better updates it is always best to send mail so someone on other end has to sign for it that way you know it arrived

I emailed my DS-3032 and paid for my I-864 Bill online. I got my bar code sheet on Saturday and printed it off because the status showed paid. Then on Monday I overnight the I-864 and on Tuesday they received it. I have not yet received my DS-3032 acceptance or I do not hear on NVC AVR that my I-864 was received. It just keeps saying your AOS FEE BILL was received on 8/16/2008. Also, the DS-230 is on its way from India to my house so that I can get ready for that. Do I need to be worried about anything at this stage. Thank You.

Our case was entered into NVC system 6 days ago, I already have the IIN number.

On the website neither bill has been invoiced yet, and the answering machine still gives the "THe case number assigned..." message. I look at a lot of other recent petitions and many people have listed that NVC received the case and generated the DS 3032 on the same day or within 1-2 days of each other.

Is it possible to email the DS 3032 now or should we really wait for the bill to be generated and how long does it take on average?

Hi, after noa1 we awited for almost 4months after i got approved. My husband is u us navy. I think its a first come first serve basis wether ur a civilian naturalized born or in military service.

Hi based from experienced and most cases of others, that will take you wait atleast maximum of 4 months after you received your NOA1. Just wait and be patient, it will come along.

Yes, you need to mail original docs and a set of copies too I am going to do it today too

Basically for most cases waiting time for NOA2 is 3-4 months, so just be patient okay? Since you worked in Japan for a year i think it is required to get a clearance based from my friend's experience who worked before in Taiwan.

Hi everyone. i know everyone is different, but i am wondering if anyone with NVC experience can share theirs with me.

I paid the aos fee bill jul16 (70 usd) and of course, i haven't received the packet yet. my wife is really getting upset and thinks they should have sent it immediately after payment. i have told her repeatedly that this may not be the case.

Can anyone tell me how long it took for you? i mean, how long after payment did the i864 packet reach you?

I'd really appreciate it and hopefully can help my wife calm down a little.

Hello, based from my friends experienced, it will take for 2-4 weeks, prior to that if you havent receive any yet try to call NVC.

We are still waiting too for our I-864, we paid it 3 weeks ago until now we havent receive any response yet.

perhaps, we just need to be patient.
