    Thank you for your reply Crazy Cat. So it a good or a bad thing when they ask those questions ? Our child was born outside the USA and the US citizen parent never lived in the US before so the citizenship cant be transmited i think

    Hi ! I would like to have your opinion about my DCF request, we applied for DCF (sent US citizen and foreign spouse and child passport, marriage certificate, our 3 birth certificates, job offer) and the embassy asked us : - if our child has a US passport (which she does not) - if we applied for a Consular report of Birth Abroad - if the US citizen has ever lived in the USA Do you know why would the embassy would need these information ? Thank you for your help
