We would like to apply for a tourist visa for my husband as opposed to an immigrant visa. We actually live in the country and just want to go visit family. We’ve been married for over 2 years and live in a house that we own. An immigrant visa would require us to live there and disrupt our life here. I’ve been told that applying for a tourist visa would be an automatic denial because he’s actually eligible for a marriage visa. Is it worth at least trying?
