Sorry for the confusion . I know that F2a India is current only for the applicant's who filed before 01st Feb 2024 as on today but my son filed date is 09th April 2024. My son dob is 03rd Nov 2003 and his age was 20 years 5 months when I filed petition on 09th April 2024. My question here as follows with an example. for example , if F2a India will become current for my son case by Oct 2026 and my son i130 petition will be approved by April 2027 , in this scenario , whether my son case fall under F2a or F2b with cspa age and 1 year sought to acquire visa starts from which date whether it is Oct 2026 or April 2027. Please explain.

What happens to cspa age in case my son i130 approved only 6 months F2a becomes current. I believe CSPA age calculated on i130 approval date because F2a is current . So my son age intact with filing date because he was under 21 when filed the petition and the same is remains because i130 approved after F2a current . My question here is when can start the ‘1 year sought to acquire visa’ . Is it effective with the date at F2a became current or from i130 approved date? Please clarify

DOB of the beneficiary is 03rd Nov 2003 and i130 filed date is 09th April 2024. My son age was 20 years 5 months when petition submitted but now the age is 22 years 4 months as on today and still unmarried . Now tell me the i130 approval date, priority date current time line, cspa calculation

Hi everyone, I filed I-130 for my son under F2A category. Priority Date: April 09, 2024 Country: India Status: I-130 pending I would like to know: - Current I-130 approval timelines for F2A India - Chances of CSPA protection - Expected timeline for NVC & interview - would like know whether my petition being processed under F2a or F2b category since my son was below 21 years/Single on filing date and he is still single now but over 21 years age on today Anyone with similar PD, please share your updates.
